Thanks everyone. I keep thinking going back is the end of how it's been but I will have my days off to look forward to.

Decluttered a little more and made £2.50 so will get that posted tomorrow. Almost at payout on GTM and Onepoll continues to be as slow as ever. This will be my last attempt at payout on there.

Going back to work is maximising income so I think we just need to minimise outgoings to ensure we have lots left over for OP's.

Need to choose some wallpaper for the lounge and have no idea what style/colour scheme to go for!

Hope the going back to work goes well and you settle in to it quickly. Am hopeless at choosing colour schemes - when we had the living room/dining room painted I thought I'd chosen two quite different shades but they both look very similar in certain lights :o

Just hit payout on GTM so that's around £32 for the OP pot. Redeemed on Superpoints too.

Hi cath, do you get to back on a phased return after maternity...we get reduced hours for the first four weeks on full pay which is great....plus you will have accrued annual leave from april which is also a help. I am back at work full time now and the extra money does make things easier. Some days it is a bit mental but they key is definately being organised. Goodluck with it all. WABL

Hi WABL, funnily enough my manager hasn't offered that, will check it out though! :) Thank you for letting me know about it.

I had the option of tagging some AL onto the end of my maternity leave but decided to keep it until DD start school nursery and childcare become more problematic!

I have survived my first week!! Worked truly awful hours over 4 days and had some busy shifts but I honestly feel like i've never been away. I'm in the middle of days off now and although working long hours next week they are only over 3 days.

Not much happening on the money front. I don't think my pay will be truly back to normal until July's paydate but June should help a lot! Superpoints money arrived this morning so paid that off student account along with a small amount of DH overtime. Am trying to stick to food budget aswell and that seems to be going well. Hopefully general water/gas/elec consumption will also reduce now that I am back at work as our DD has been increased.

House currently in chaos due to work being done and need to contact decorator and joiner today at some point.
