The renovation work is starting! Ordered my new French doors this morning, I've wanted some for ages and I'm hoping they'll arrive in time to be fitted over the BH weekend.
I haven't made a single OP this month! Have my regular OP of just over £200 set up as of tomorrow and will increase this again when I am back in work. Not sure if i'll meet my target for the year but spending on the house is taking priority at the moment.
Another SP redeem this week so will pay that off CC once I can request it tomorrow. Have 33p payable in TCB so might not request that just yet!
I just need to check my spreadsheet to see what my mortgage balance will be once payment goes out tomorrow and then can update.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Superpoints money received. Logged into paypal and found £45 I'd forgotten about so i'll transfer it all to my graduate account. Would be nice to OP it but the account is going to cost me if I don't clear the remaining interest free overdraft by July. When I'm back at work we'll have loads of money so can catch up then!
Really want to get to payout on Onepoll in next few weeks so I can stop it! I'm at £20 but know when I'm back at work I just won't have time. There was a time when I could make 80p-£1 a day on there!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
No news on delivery of the doors so might chase that up today. Still need to work out where some furniture is going to go in preparation for the work. I could really do with working out how quickly I can save up for the next bit but don't get much chance to concentrate to do a new SOA!
Am doing a mini grocery challenge this month. I don't want to spend more than £250 which should be achievable as we are only a family of 4 (baby breastfed), no pets etc. Will be the first time i've actually tracked my food spend, I usually know we've blown the budget when we run out of money in our food/petrol account!
Hope everyone is looking forward to the bank holiday although I do believe we're forecast snow?????
Just before I go, here's another Superpoints code worth 25 bonus points. You literally sign up, complete profile details to get more spins and enjoy the free money!

Not much else to update, am not getting much sleep (no more than 3 hours in a row) and exhaustion is interfering with my mojo!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
The length of time between my posts seems to be increasing!
Money arrived from TCB so sent it straight to student overdraft account. Logged into TCB to see I have another £12.10 ready so I've requested that too. Hopefully car insurance payments be due end of this month so that's another £140 headed my way! Also redeemed for a £15 Amazon voucher on Toluna but they take forever to arrive!
Doors being fitted this weekend so hoping they'll look fab once finished!
Breaking news : at 7 months we are down to one night feed - hallelujah!!
Also have a Superpoints referral code worth 25 bonus points to the lucky taker. Same advice to you as the others that have signed up. Complete registration process to achieve basic member level and then start spinning!

Hope the doors fitting goes well, Cath, it's exciting getting things done in the house
Fingers crossed that's you turned a corner with the night time feeds, especially if you're back at work soon.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Had a really constructive day today. Supermarket shop done and visit to DIY store for renovation bits and picked up some wallpaper samples. Got dd some sand and filler her sand table she already had so she's thrilled with that and has happily played whilst we sorted the garden (baby napping in cot which is a rarety!) Sun has shined most of the day here so I hope it's set to stay a while.
50 Superpoints code anyone?

Doors look fab, hopefully get them stained this weekend and plastering work won't be far off but we need to strip some wallpaper first hence the delay.
I do feel like I've lost my way a bit at the moment on the MF dream, I think it's down to lack of funds and needing to pay off bits and pieces with what little extra I am earning at the moment.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I know the feeling with the MF dream ~ my DH has announced he wants to up sticks & move within the next 3 years, possibly as early as next year!!
We had always planned on moving, just not that quick!! We have some savings but not enough, I wanted to pay off the mortgage before we moved & save up a bit more...
So, moving mortgages is on hold & the window saga still hasn't been sorted ~ too busy flapping around like a mad woman!!
So glad you're pleased with the new doors & hope little one is still being good with the night-time sleeping'A watched potato will never chit'...0
