Loving this weather!! Finally got around to planting all the strawberry plants and moved them around in the garden this morning so that they are in a sunnier spot.

Ebay item sold over the weekend so £13 requested from Paypal and will go into savings once it arrives.

Hoping mortgage switchover happen soon as current provider have written to me informing me of rate hike! Council tax going up £3 a month and gas £10 a month aswell. Hopefully that's my 3!

The weather is gorgeous isn't it :cool2: We had our first BBQ yesterday :D

I missed out on the strawberries & planters in Aldi ~ was very tempted to buy a raspberry plant for £2.99 but was shocked at the vicious thorns on the stem!! I think by the time we get our patio sorted it'll be too late to grow anything anyway :o

I've been doing an updated SOA & it's depressing how many price increases there have been since the last one I did just a couple of months ago. Our Council tax has gone up as well, plus the water, the AA, union subs...

We got our letter about the SVR today, hopefully your FD mortgage will be up & running soon. I noticed in the Sunday Times yesterday that FD were in the 'Best Mortgages' section ~ I can't wait to switch but the window saga is still ongoing atm.

    It's so lovely out there!

My 2yr old looked through strawberry plants this morning, he was (strangely :rotfl:) disappointed so I gave him an apple for the effort:D.

    Have a good day!

Don't know if I'm coming or going at the moment! Rang Halifax as my mortgage goes out on the 1st and I switch on the 2nd so am thinking my dd will do out as normal as according to my calculations the figures balance out. Hopefully my mortgage will show on my FD banking soon enough and then i'll be a bit clearer! Had to transfer almost £500 from savings to bring balance down to projected borrowing amount so need to replace that somehow!! That said, I've been transferring earnings etc to savings rather than OP lately so it all balances out i guess!

Earned £6.15 from Superpoints and £5 mysurvey this week plus a £14 ebay sale.

Hope everyone is enjoying and making the most of the warm weather.

Cath, you're doing brilliantly on superpoints ~ are you a gold or platinum member?? The 50 points was a good referral offer for somebody!! ;)

My DH is exactly the same with shopping ~ he managed to spend £66 in Asda yesterday & I didn't even know he was going!! That's my grocery challenge up the spout again!! :rotfl:

Thanks PP, i'm platinum. You need 2 friends for gold and 5 for platinum so I get 100 spins a day and it makes a huge difference.

Here's another referral code - any takers???? This one is worth 25 points.
