It's heartbreaking for them isn't it. DD used to cut them in 2's so hoping baby is the same as I think it's better for them.

Sun is shining here this morning so got bedding on the line already! I am so much more energetic once the sun comes out. Anything else I get done today is baby permitting! I'm hoping he's tired after not sleeping too well last night.

If anyone is interested I have a referral code for SP worth 50 points for us both when used.

Not much happening, house been valued and it's worth what we paid for it 7 years ago! At least it's not dropped. Unfortunately we have just missed out on a slightly better mortgage rate but after some quick maths it wasn't worth stressing over £10 a month!

Listed 10 items on ebay yesterday, one has bids and one has 2 watchers.

Mortgage goes out tomorrow so can update sig!

Done really well on Superpoints this week and managed to redeem twice. That money landed in paypal yesterday so once that's received i'll add it to renovation savings.

Only other thing I plan to do this week is get some sleep - it's pretty hardgoing here at the moment.

Thanks YB, will get payout again today. I average every 10 days at least which is fab! I like that it pays out so quickly. Hope you're doing ok on there too.

The paypal error that happened a while ago has been reversed and £16 landed in account this morning along with £50 from Yougov! That's all been transferred to renovation savings.

No sleep again, just don't know what the answer is. DD also being very testing!!

One ebay item now has a bid and I'm hoping interest on them increases over the weekend.

Going to try and get some jobs done in the garden over the weekend if the weather holds out.

I also have trouble sleeping, this might sound really odd but one thing that has helped me a lot is to turn my alarm clock round so I can't see what time it is. Then, when I wake up in the night, instead of seeing the time and worrying about not sleeping I just fall back to sleep and don't remember waking up. Not sure if it will help you but might be worth a try! :o

hmmm, still not getting sleep!! DS is 5 months now and I am thinking how relieved I am I took 9 months mat leave and not 6!! I'd be back in a couple of weeks.

Decluttered some more so that's another £20 gone to renovation savings :j

Any money from survey sites etc is going off 0% CC and I have more money expected from Superpoints this week. I feel like i'm not OP much at the moment but things are getting a bit tighter now we are coming towards the end of mat leave and have had a few expenses this year as well as costs associated with mortgage switchover. Once I've had a good sleep I'll update my SOA for next 3 months and then see how much money we have once I go back to work!!

I might have to have a look at FD and see if there is anything good for me there, sounds like its a long process and lots of paperwork though, my paper trial is rubbish!
My LTV is under 50% now based on £110k valuation. want to do it now but promised to take kids swimming darn it lol

ETA - just had a quick look and the rates look fab, dont understand all the jargon and the different types exactly but will have a look more closely later.

I'm considering looking at changing to FD as well as they seem to come highly recommended on MFW. Cath, did you have to pay an arrangement fee for the deal you got?? If you don't mind, can I ask what other expenses were involved as well??

Hope you manage to get a good sleep, you must be exhausted, seems you have one very hungry boy!!

    Hi Pammy and Poppy,

Pammy, you'd qualify for the current rate base+1.89% which is a fab deal and has unlimited OP's. Arrangement fee was £499 which will be added to mortgage (but I will knock off via OP) and £173 for valuation. I can refer you and will PM you.

My ebay items end this evening (one tomorrow) and the bidding isn't very exciting!! One item surprisingly has 7 watchers though so we will see! Once they're sold I can free up a dining chair!!
