Mortgage goes out today so sig updated according to SS. It's very nice to get out of the 110's!
Finally got to payout on YouGov this morning, it's not the quickest earner as I'm sure it has taken me 3 years to earn that £50 but it's mine now and will be sent as an OP the instant it lands in my account!
I must be daft - received a postal order today and tried to cash it in the post office but they don't accept them - how ridiculous! Couldn't be bothered going to the bank so it can wait until I am going that way again - I think there might be an expiry date though so will double check.
Have completely run out of M&S vouchers now so future shops will be done at Mr S,T or I! As i'd said I had lost track with the accounts so roughly calculated that £120 should be enough for food for the next 4 weeks as we have just done a shop to last us this week.
I just need to double check the outstanding CC balance from laptop purchase and pay some more off when DH gets paid.
Finally, I paid for something using paypal last week and was given the wrong address. It says unless I cancel it I will get it back in 28 days but I can't see where to cancel it. It says click 'unclaimed' and then 'cancel' but I can't seem to find it? Any ideas? It's £16 and I'd rather not have to wait!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Can't help with PP sorry, I think they deliberately make it difficult.
Well done on getting into the £100's - that must feel good :T0 -
Thanks Macgirl, i'll just wait for it to credit than OP it as i've survived without it so far!
Updated tax credits few days ago and realised I'd overestimated our earnings by about 3k and we've had a extra payment today! Have sent £100 to mortgage and the rest off CC. Forgot to do Halifax money switching so missed out on £10 this month  Also had paypal and superpoints money arrive so OP'd that aswell so total so far this month is £120 which I think will get us into the 108's next month
Managed to find DH's P45 from last job and as he left middle of March am hoping FD will accept it as proof of earnings. Just some statements to print off and it should be all systems go! :j
If anyone else wants to join superpoints let me know and i'll send you a referral code. Had one this morning that will give us both 25 points on sign upJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
£15 Amazon voucher just arrived in Toluna account! Confirmation through post too that TC are going up a bit, and A LOT in April! Will ring them again with expected Salary though as I believe entitlement threshold is being reduced again.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Managed to sort out my account with H**C today. They don't know why it was changed so will continue to honour it as a graduate account and refund about £60 worth of charges. Hopefully I can get the rest of it paid off by July. Sold some more stuff one of which needs posting next week - playroom still looks dreadful though!
Almost at payout on GTM but some of the surveys don't seem to work with google chrome which is a bit annoying.
Feel incredibly frustrated with my house at the moment, I'm exhausted from a week of no sleep and spending far too much time on Rightmove! This was initiated by seeing an advert in the local shop today that a local cash buyer investor wants properties in my area and I'm tempted to enquire!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Rang investor yesterday but no phonecall back yet. I keep going round in circles trying to make a decision. One of my biggest frustrations with the house is that we can't access the back from the front due to poorly done side extension (our property is detached). However, our plans show we should be able to get around the side of garage on opposite side but we can't so I'm wondering if the boundary has moved over time? Not sure how we would check this if anyone has any ideas?????
Decluttered more items through selling some for £12, binning a binbag worth of stuff and 2 bags full of stuff for charity.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Who drew up the plans? I guess the planning office would know, but I have no experience with this sort if thing.
Did you get you paypal bill sorted?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

When we bought the house the vendors gave us the plans they'd had drawn up for a full width two-storey extension and on those it looks as though there is some space at the side of the garage. I'll have another look later. Paypal not sorted but i'll just wait for it to get refunded now as I couldn't work out how to do it!
Might come to you for a builder recommendation EG!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
It might be Land Registry who can advise re. boundaries? http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/
Have you heard anything from the investor yet??'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Had house valued yesterday, he way overpriced it though! I let him carry on though as investors he works with offer 75% of market value. That figure would still be too low though so we might as well just price this realistically. I have seen a few properties I like and think we will probably put this on the market.
My only issue is: As I am on maternity leave, we won't get a decent mortgage offer until I am back at work in June so if we were to sell right now we couldn't borrow enough for a new house. Will see what happens though and get another estate agent to value this who have sold a few properties on my road recently.
Thanks for the link PP, will have a look now.
Just sorted out my paperwork for FD mortgage, all I need is January's payslip which has gone missing in work again *tuts*. Am tempted to send paperwork without it to at least get the ball rolling as no doubt there will be something else from me that I have missed/forgotten.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
