£6.12 from Superpoints and £5 from mysurvey redeemed. I am giving up on a few survey sites as I won't have time to switch laptop on when I go back to work never mind spending 20mins+ on surveys. They have served their purpose while I have been off but I need to limit the ones I do now as I reach redemption.

Ha****x have written to me to let me know they're refunded £270 to our mortgage - that will do very nicely!

Yes it was PP. I had a letter off them over a year ago stating they were crediting £5 to the mortgage and had a browse on this site and found the thread about it but assumed that was all I was owed. This was a ovely surprise!

£10 requested from TCB. Can't wait to get paid this week so that I can replace all money I have 'borrowed' from accounts and see where we are financially. Also think I only have 2 more rubbish paydays left.

A**i shop today and got a fairly full trolley so hoping that lasts a good week. We don't seem to spend a lot on food yet our budget doesn't last us for the month and I really don't understand where it goes. I think a spending diary is a good idea for this month.

One item on ebay which I'm hoping to make at least £15 on. Also need to sort out a new car seat for DD as she is too tall for her stage 2 and also need to fit one in DH car that is taking up room in the playroom.

Have bought some strawberry plants and a huge planter which was a bargain so am going to plant them with DD tomorrow which should be fun and educational for her.

So it's 2 weeks now since Legal team took over the final bit of mortgage. I'm hoping everything is completed for 1st April as I will save a few £'s!

Car taxed - I did it last week pre-budget to try and be extra MSE!

Payday tomorrow so will pay professional fees, can't believe I have to pay to do my job!! Sold some stuff yesterday and SP money arrived in account today.
Also, £3.55 requested from DH TCB account
Might try and do a bit more decluttering today!

Cath, has the H@lif@x SVR cap refund shown up on your mortgage balance?? I noticed my balance was exactly £200 less the other day (before I got the letter) & wondered if I had written the outstanding balance down wrong when I last updated, but now I'm wondering if it was to do with the refund

Can I ask where you got your strawberry plants & planter from, please?? I'm in the process of sorting a patio area in my garden in the hope of growing strawberries, herbs etc. but they will have to be in planters or pots.

Hope your DD enjoyed helping you in the garden ~ it's good to get them involved with growing things :D

My boy was just over 1 year old and he would go to garden each morning to check if any strawberries turned red overnight;) He would check them again in the evening as well;) I loved the joy couple of plants could bring him! Priceless :D

We didn't get around to planting anything today due to a non-napping baby and dd not 100% at the moment. PP they are from Aldi, it is a material pop up planter which looks relatively easy to use and I got the plants from there too, 12 for £5 but you may be able to pick those up cheaper from a garden centre? I MUST plant them tomorrow!!!

Sorry PP, forgot to answer your question. I think my balance has changed but Halifax only update balance when OP made or interest added i think. I have plotted my refund as an OP in my SS though so I will see if it tallies up next week and let you know. Am assuming they won't reduce DD.
