I feel rich too! Definitely softens the blow of working full time!

I have one account I use to deposit cheques etc so used cash from that today (GTM earnings) to go towards food shop so sent money from food account as a further OP. Need to find an extra £50 for September to start with a £106k!

Had a lovely family day out today, managed to feed us all at lunch time for £6. When our friends suggested lunch I thought we'd end up spending a fortune! Bought a cheapish bottle of wine to try from Aldi but with 2 cheeky monkeys not guaranteed to stay settled I'm not sure it's worth opening!

More decluttering done but also bought DS some lovely new outfits! Will keep them to one side for either his birthday or Christmas though as they are in the next size. Moved money around some accounts and put an account in credit that was slightly overdrawn. It is so nice actually having the funds to be able to do this!

Food budget for the month has gone brilliantly! Hopefully I can spend less than £200 next month aswell. Sig updated as mortgage goes out tomorrow. Hally bonus money should also credit so I can switch that money around.

Not much else to report, am trying a new routine with DS as he doesn't sleep much day or night and I am truly exhausted - wish me luck!!

I know exactly how you feel Cath and sending you :grouphug:. DS1 didn't sleep through (all night) until he was 2.5 years old! How I went back to work full-time when he was 9 months old - I don't know. Think I was on autopilot as I was just so shattered. Sometimes he used to get up 7 times a night! We tried everything: baby whisperer, controlled crying etc. In the end as he got older and became more active, he just tired himself out. He has just turned 4 years old and still gets up 1-2 times a night to use the toilet, but at least he goes back to sleep until 6am. Luckily, DS2 is a good sleeper and will sleep for 7pm - 6am.

Both boys get up around 6am (seems to be their natural time to wake time) and both are extremely busy. Hope you little one starts sleeping soon.

Routine is going well and we have our evenings back!!

Have just reached payout on rewarded opinions but can't remember my details to log in and redeem! Will have to hunt out my old diary and find my password. Tried to send an extra OP yesterday so those of you with a First Direct account may be able to answer my question. How do you change the payment date of a regular SO? I can only work out how to change the amount.

Have been trying to sell my pram on local selling pages but had no luck. Advertised it on ebay with a starting bid of what I paid for it last night and already have a bid!

Can't believe it's the weekend already. DH is taking the children out in the morning to a funday which I'm disappointed to be missing as I'm working but hopefully we can do something nice in the afternoon. DD starts full days at nursery in September so it is going to feel strange to be at home without her. One on one time with DS will be nice but I sometimes miss it just being me and her. Why do our children grow up so fast!?!?

A standing Order is usually just set up for a specific time frame, so you'd need to start a new standing order to change the date/frequency, I think.

Well done with your pram on eBay. I keep meaning to have a rumage and get things listed but never seem to get there lately!

Thanks for that Becky. I think i'll just keep sending money across but keep date the same for now as I'm not super confident with their online banking and changes don't show up until the payment has gone (doesn't show a new scheduled one if that makes sense).

Little to do list to remind myself:
    1) Email a complaint
    2) Chase up missing delivery (same store but separate issue!!!!)
    3) Get nursery registration number so can attempt to claim towards childcare expenses. 2 children in nursery is financially crippling!!!
    4) declutter, declutter, delcutter!!

Other than that have had another lovely family day out using our NT membership. We have a property about 2 miles away and there are usually events on so that could be our haunt this summer!

DH is working lots of overtime at the moment with some very early starts so I think i'll let him have half of his OT pay. The other half can go to the mortgage!

Still toying with extension plans, we have the plans that were drawn up for the previous vendors but just don't know which bit of it to do. Essentially it needs to be the most cost effective and giving us the space we want. I don't want extra rooms for the sake of it.
