    LittleMissKitty,

Saw your post after I had posted. Thanks for reading! We do have similar goals - do you have a diary???

DD is 2 and I only now have the courage to have another, it has been a difficult 2 years with very little sleep! At least I know what not to do next time! Go on, i reckon you can squeeze in one more!

Am so ready for a relaxing evening, I feel exhausted the last few days! Can test next weekend and what I have resembles pregnancy tiredness but not getting my hopes up! Just plan to spend this evening catching up on tv with DH and we have a family day off tomorrow, am trying to think of somewhere cheap to go.

I don't know what has happened to my budgeting this month but I need tuesday to come round quickly when have a few bank credits!

I have had quite a few Onepoll surveys lately and would love to get it to £40 before end of year but not sure how possible that it. Surveys on TCB are rubbish at the moment - there are none!

Not going to any firework displays
    1) I'm exhausted
    2) trying to get DD in better routine while I'm 'not pregnant' and will be too exhausted to do it
    3) Weather is rubbish!

Am sure we will hear plenty though. I always remember as a child hunting for them the next day!

Cath Girls are harder than boys! Although my DD sleeps as have all the lads, we've been lucky. Good luck with the baby making plans , I 'll keep my fingers crossed for you.:)

Just do your onepoll every day ( except wks) and it soon mounts up. Is your OH interested in opening one up too? ;)

onepoll is just part of my everyday life now, Im on my way to my 3rd £40

Oh baby crying must dash feeding time!

Thanks Iris, as DD not planned this is all very new and exciting! Will be the last baby too so making the most of the planning/excitement etc. Routine going fairly well, we have bath, milk, story and she can tell me what comes next but sometimes thinks she can 'splash' after her story! little monkey! Went to bed about 10 mins ago - just need to progress to her falling asleep in her bed and sleeping through the night. I usually let her sleep in the playroom for daytime naps but might take her upstairs when she is asleep so she can wake up in her room while it's light. At the moment she only seems to be in there when it's dark!

OnePoll has really good periods where you can credit almost £1 a day so can see it building up well. I only used to check on my phone and get barely anything on there so always make sure I do it online too now. DH has started one too in the last few days. Realistically between us it could be worth a couple of hundred a year! I never knew there was so much free money to be had till I found this forum!

Has anyone done the ?experian credit check for £33 on TCB? Wondering if it's worth a go? I did a £1.70 car insurance search earlier and somehow escaped a phonecall. Qoutes were good too, i think we can renew both cars next month for around £500 total and that is without cashback offers.

Just about to have dinner and watch tv, sounds like an ideal friday night - and the fireworks have stopped too!

  • I need to sign up for onepoll i think. :D Not like i don't do enough pesky surveys already, but i am always up for free cash.

I think part of my 2011 aims is going to be coining in as much of this free cash as possible and making it work for us.

Hope there is some exciting news for you. I caught on first month of trying both times, which is probably best for me as i have very little patience waiting for things. Helps i am a science teacher/biochemist so i am sure i timed it right trying after watching for ovulation signs.

a tip: Avoid the calls : dont give your real number out! I dont give it on genuine quotes anyway as the reason I get cover online is to avoid speaking to people.

I did the credit check before the cashback. First on myself and then my OH 2 weeks later, they messed it up and combined our names and "debts". They sorted in out in the end but it worried me as we want to sort out how much we can borrow soon for moving.

Its easy to do, all I'd suggest is don't do it if you want to apply for some credit or another soon as you wouldn't want to mess up. I was surprised about how many cc we still had open and the amount of credit that was available to us even though we now longer had the cards. I've now closed everything. They didnt ask loads of questions when I closed the account before the months free trial was up which makes things easier too.

TTC wise - A pillow under the bum helps and definately not trying every day ! Only one I had problems with conceiving was DD as I had the depo injection it took 18 months. I think a change of diet and running helped me on that one

Michelle, I'm getting used to doing the surveys now, really used to feel like a chore but now I hunt them down! I really need to up our income anyway i can since overtime at work has stopped. If i wanted things in the past I would work extra shifts to pay for it and i assumed the overtime would always be there!

Still no car insurance call! Will change my number in future (or did i do it this time???? can't remember!)

I may do the credit check then, i suppose it is something we should all be doing anyway so if cashback is involved it's a no-brainer!

Thanks both for the TTC advice, will let you know any news!

Quite an expensive day today  took DD to a play area and after paying admission and buying food DH spent £20! I think both of us being at home a lot this week has meant we have spent a lot of money. Will almost be glad for DH holiday week to be over! ;)

Must get ourselves back on the straight and narrow next week esp as the accounts look terrible! Have opened 2 halifax instant access saver accounts this morning too. Interest rate is only 2.8% but I can use them for car insurance costs etc - well, that's the plan!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I am shattered and could actually go for a nap! That is also ringing alarm bells for me too but time will tell ;)

Had a brilliant day. Went to a table top fundraiser event and found some absolute bargains for DD
    1) Easel £1
    2) Easel £2 (better than the first so couldn't resist!)
    3) Big bag of duplo £2 (was going to buy her some anyway!
All of the stuff there was really good quality. Did keep my eyes open for a little tykes car and apart from a tiny toy version my friend had which DD was totally unimpressed/confused by we didn't have much luck! DH has picked the one up from his mum's but it's not little tikes. I haven't seen it as it is in his car boot so I may ask my mum to buy DD the one off Amazon!

No more pregnancy signs but I have the most awful toothache! Would have preferred to have gone to the dentist when it was free if i was preg as check up not sue for ages! Think i will have to ring for an appointment tomorrow tho :(

  • Fantastic bargains, are you going to sell the first easel?

I hope the toothache is ok, looking forward to hearing the baby news.
