Cath you sure it wasn't Argos?? they are doing a chad valley keyboard, seat and microphone for £20 and then a matching guitar for another £10. I'm sure there was an ad in one of the daily papers advertising the both of these for 29.98 type thing.

Decluttering is good, we are in land of boxes and i'm not enjoying it. OH not a declutterer and its causing friction

Perhaps it was, i will check! For some reason I convinced myself it was made by 'hello kitty' which has probably limited my search! I hope I do find it as DD is quite the little performer and will love it!

I threw loads of stuff out when we moved last time, seemed easier to get rid rather than move it! However, living surrounded by boxes is no fun. At least you move next week and hopefully can unpack quickly!

DH has just phoned, we can get £25 for one of the i-pods, they won't accept the other as it has a small dent but I never thought it would be worth that much - not sure how much they are new but we have had a good deal! There's another OP for the month!

thanks both, it was just lying in a drawer so I'm really pleased! I'm going to pay it off the mortgage so I can hit my year end target but I also need to start saving too.

Both car renewals are due week before Christmas so I really need to top up one of current accounts to pay for that. I have over £100 in Quidco but not sure how long they take to pay - not everything is validated yet though.

I have always been careful with money but I think being on this forum makes you more careful and resourceful! :)

    Obsessed is probably another word!
  • Hey CathT, have just been noseying at your diary. Looks like you're in a similar position to me :)
Our mortgage is similar (£124020 as of today :) ) and I'm also aiming for a MF by 40 and DH 45!

Much babydust headed your way. I'd love to have another but DS3 is only 3 months old and I'm not sure we could manage to fit 7 people in a 2-bed house!

I'd say so! Even if we buy wine or something I think 'nooooo, I should pay that £10 off my mortgage!!'

Overpayment of £20 set up to leave account tomorrow. OP's only stand at £40 for the month but am finding it more difficult in the run up to christmas. Now overpaid £727.23 since June!

Current accounts not looking brilliant but CB and tax credits go in next tues so may be able to sort something out for another OP then. Right, after my constructive mortgage at home I had better get myself to work!
