LilacPixie, I have just checked that out - what a bargain for you. I think we have finished buying for DD now, just a few adults left to get. I have a cheese knife which was a free gift at a party i went to but is quite fancy and is worth £15 - am looking for a nice cheeseboard to go with it if anyone can recommend one?
Yukkibear, am not sure about the codes, am off to check my directory once i've typed this! We had a March wedding too, not long now!
Think i will open a Sainsburys easy saver account - noticed they are offering 500 points but double points for a year which would be great as we already have double points untill Sept from renewing home insurance.
Payday next week! Can't wait - need to work out if i can send an OP as most of Christmas spending is done now. Have paid the deposit for Christmas lunch so just the balance left to pay.
Right, off to look for my delivery code!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Found a delivery code - right at the bottom of my handbag but think it has expired! Have listed 3 items on ebay, not expecting to make a fortune. One item is a rocking chair i had for nursing DD but there is no room for it anymore and it won't fit in what will be the new nursery! Making space and cash - got to be good!
Might have a trip to costcos tomorrow, have been cooking with their chicken and the quality is brilliant. Will have a day out in that area too so can justify the petrol costs. Must try and look at the thread on here somewhere about what is good to buy from there.
Right, logging off now to watch scary film with DH - not sure I am feeling brave enough for this!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Pam i do exactly that! Really need to start wrapping soon but it's harder to hide wrapped presents!
Well I am the opposite, once they are wrapped I put them in black bags all sorted and put them all under the stairs so I dont have to trapse them all back down the stairs on xmas eve.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Ah, good point. Could do with hiding them downstairs somewhere.
Listed a DVD boxset on Amazon earlier and it has already sold! Doubt it will be OP money tho - DH wants it!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Amazon sale posted and have a few watchers on ebay stuff. Am getting the bug now and looking for things to ebay/amazon! Have to say i prefer Amazon really. It seems much more efficient.
Have bought another christmas present which looks a lot more expensive than it is - still have a few difficult ones left to buy though.
Have opened a sainsburys easy saver account (no idea what the interest rate is!) but got 500 points for opening it and will get double points for 2 years - bonus!
Film last night 'Paranormal Activity' wasn't too scary after all. We need a really good film to watch, have seen a few poor ones lately!
Still no real plans for targets for 2011, have found November difficult enough to budget without thinking any further ahead at the moment!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
If you still need a delivery code you can have mine. For some reason I didn't find the right place to use it and the order had gone through, so mine is going spare.0

Thanks Yukkibear, that would be very kind :AIf still on offer you could PM me? Think I have at last chosen a gift for one of our last to buy and also want to get DD some boots. I tried some Uggs on today in Costco and they looked awful! They were long knitted ones but they were the only style they had. I quite like the look of the short bulky knitted ones tho. I honestly don't know how people buy trolleys full of stuff from Costco, I struggle to find things i think are a bargain! DH did get 24 bottles of lucozade for about £8 and i know he tends to buy one most days when at work. I must remember to knock £8 from his monthly money!! :rotfl:Think he is catching on with MF though as he plans to sell some to colleagues at a profit!!
Cheque for £8ish arrived from Music magpie so i need to get that banked but probably not going into town for a while now so may have to make a special trip. Our local branch of my bank has closed which is a huge inconvenience.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
How good is DH, he is going to bank my cheque tomorrow while i am at work and asked what happens with the ebay/amazon/cashback money so i told him it goes to the mortgage of course. Looks like that £12 is mine too!
You watch December be my best month for OP's yet!
Onepoll has kept me very busy today - was almost getting annoyed at the amount of surveys. I should definitely get to £40 before christmas! :TJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
me too. I'm on the home straight on onepoll, am at £39.15 :j took me over a year to get there as I was only checking once a day until I realised that fatal mistake and check it through work now as well
