i think i will have to be ruthless, if not now then definitely after christmas as she is having some big items, easel, dressing table etc. Trouble with this house is there is no storage!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Having a bit of a sort out today and getting house valued tomorrow
Had to buy DD trainers earlier as hers were too small, they were £28! Is it awful of me to buy some excellent condition ones off ebay and take those back - they're so expensive!
Sold another item on amazon but have had to contact buyer as i thought it was wrapped in cellophane but it's not - hope they still want it!
Got builder coming to sort window this week and as a family we all have dentist tomorrow so have to wait till end of week before sending anymore OP's. Waiting on a £25 credit from Amazon so once that arrives it can definitely be sent.
Feeling a bit queasy today......i wonder?????June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
OOh exciting. When are you due to test??Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

not till 6th Dec. Wasn't gonna try this month but thought 'if it happens'. Also DD not sleeping well again which doesn't help!
Off to sort out some house stuff tomorrow. Find out what incentives are available with new build and get ours valued. I can't believe I am considering moving again! Perhaps the baby stuff should wait, I get sooooo stressed! Gets your house clean and tidy though having an impending visit from estate agents doesn't it!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
You're not kidding, we got into a really slick routine when we were selling. Dust, hoover, and chuck everything in the cupboards, put the dog bed and bowls in the shed and the dog in the car...
Well don't test until 6th Dec, or you'll drive yourself doolally. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I know, i tested early last time and was disappointed. Got dental treatment tomoro and not allowed to be pregnant so plenty of time after that!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Well, am having a busy morning! Have been to see the new house (1st time DH has seen it) and it was even better than last time! Noticed things i didn't see before. The salesman told us he has 10k to play with on the asking price and we certainly wouldn't pay what it is priced at now.
House cleaned and tidied and waiting for local estate agent to come and value. New house not ready till Feb 4th anyway so that gives us the standard 12 week time frame to try and sell.
Also waiting for builder to come this evening to fix window to finalise building regs so i will have to go into town tomorrow to sort that out.
Dentist later too
On a MFW point i bought DD some trainers off ebay for £10 inc postage so have returned her £28 pair this morning! How naughty - but am going to send another £20 off the mortgage. Wasn't sure if it was worth sending that amount but when i add the £25 i am expecting from Amazon it all adds up and before I know it I will have another £100 to overpay.
Also did a sainsburys shop using the vouchers I was sent for taking out their home insurance and filled up DH car using nectar points so all that was free!! :j
While i am thinking about it i'm sure someone on here purchased their energy report from a cashback site. Can anyone remember where?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
well, house got vaued at 5k less than we paid for it 6 years ago and i doubt it will achieve anywhere near that!
Doesn't take me long to remember why I vowed never to move again. Bonus is i have a very shiny house! :j
might try and get a few surveys done this evening to add to the OP potJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
grrrr. just spend a while doing a survey on TCB, got right to the end and it told me i failed survey quality control (or something like that). Hope i didn't tick the box saying 'no' to answering everything truthfully!
items ending on ebay shortly, must stop checking 'my ebay' every 5 seconds!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
2 items sold so that's nearly £20 to OP/save? Also expecting £25 from Amazon. Builder didn't charge for window and I budgeted about 40 for that. Also have nearly £34 ready to come from Quidco, do they just send it when it's ready? Couldn't see anywhere for me to request it like with TCB. I could be being dense though.
Dentist was £39 but DH needs treatment after christmas which will be £177! I have told him a lot of that needs to come out of his personal spends to which he agreed - we will see!
Think DH veering off the idea of TTC as DD has been so unsettled last few nights
Right, off to catch up on some diaries as I am falling a bit behind!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
