Thank you, my friend who used to work in a baby shop kindly did it and has also lent me a birthing ball which is fab!

Today has gone so quickly. Had my repeat GTT which left me feeling soooo tired as I had to fast and then I imagine sugars dropped during the test. It also felt like I was there forever!

I am so behind with everything, housework, surveys, diaries!!

DH has set up the cot in our bedroom though and it looks fab. Just waiting for mobile to arrive and I can complete it! I have a feeling time could go very quickly now as I have a few appointments etc which seem to make the week go quick.

Don't appear to have any money till payday, this happens every month. Tax credits go in on the 13th so it's not too far away :)

Cheque arrived this morning from GTM for £30.12 and only took 5 weeks which isn't bad. Think I have missed lots of survey invites for there in the last few days.

Was reading an article in a baby magazine in clinic today re: tax credits and although it was a 2003 issue it did say that help with childcare applies to a £22k income for 1 child but a £30k income for 2 children which could explain why the estimation of payments increases a lot with the new arrival. Help with childcare costs would be wonderful!

Hoping to catch up with lots of diaries later - hope I haven't missed too much! :D

Off to a Macmillan coffee morning today so DH kindly baked a cake for that yesterday. I have decluttered some things for one of the stalls. Nothing else planned today, quite pleased to have a day without appointments!

I still need to look at home insurance quotes and sort out job application.

Think we are ready for baby, still need to but a few bits and pieces now: infacol, baby wash and some cream for me when feeding.

Would like to get to payout on some more surveys before baby arrives but we will see!

    30 days to go!!

Came home early from Macmillan as I was having lots of braxton hicks and backache. DD promptly fell asleep on our return so I have looked at home insurance quotes. Renewal price from existing supplier arrived today and the new quote I had with a different one is similar to this (not sure exactly how cover varies) but I can get a £50 M+S voucher and £50.50 cashback through TCB so tbh that's good enough for me! Not sure it's worth searching for other quotes.

I'm sure we were promised a sunny day today but it's cloudy and miserable out!

Am tempted to have a cheeky nap while DD is still asleep!

Wow I can't overcome this tiredness! Had more pains last night ? head engaging but not at consultant until Thursday whereas if I am seeing midwife it is on a Tuesday or Wednesday so a little longer to wait.

Have just been looking at job description for the post I want. As we apply online most of the information is saved but I just need to tailor it to this post. The last job I applied for involved eyes!

Not got a lot done this morning, have washed up and hung out the washing. I have been up since 6am with DD but don't think I have woken up yet. I need to pop out to the shop but am tempted to ask DH to pick up what we need on his way home from work.

Am starting to wonder how I will manage with 2 children, obviously I know I will but DD still needs me a lot. I'm just worried about giving her the attention she needs whilst caring for a newborn and recovering from a hopefully not too traumatic birth! I don't want to stay in hospital at all so hoping it all happens in the daytime so I can get back home to DD. In some ways she is very grown up, independent and mature but she is still my little girl who will often climb onto my knee for a cuddle.

Owwww, that will be lovely, I have just stopped, but have very fond memories (of sitting on sofa relaxing, sigh!)

Fairly busy day planned today. Have managed to keep current accounts in credit - if they do go overdawn in next few days it won't be as bad as TC go into account next week and it's a daily charge (but I would still like to avoid it!)

Off to the Debenhams sale later to spend my giftcard.

Hoping I have some energy for housework later since I slept all night and lay in till 7:30am as DH got up with DD. I would like to sort the playroom out but I think it's beyond rescue! I just don't understand how DD has soooo much stuff and there is nothing else I can sell or give to charity.

    Oh - I'm 36 weeks pregnant today!!

Well done Baby T for staying put.

I think Baby T will have stayed put 2 weeks after his due date too! Unless he is very clever and thinks 'maybe I should come out before I get too big!' I think he must be 7lb 7oz now if he has gained weight at the same rate he has been. If this weight gain increases in the last few weeks compared to 32-35 weeks then I am in trouble! I worked out how many ounces he had gained between scans and worked out that by my due date he would be 9lb 10oz! Flip side is that is a huge proportion of my 14lb weight gain!

SPD is excruciating today, I can hardly walk and am having to support myself using furniture, walls etc. At rest I am fine but I can't really sit down for 4 weeks and HAD to get my bleach fix by cleaning kitchen and downstairs loo earlier. Floor is brushed and ready for me to mop later and have another fix! :D

Have just managed to get buildings and contents insurance for about £166 with £50.50 cashback and £50 M+S vouchers. Even DH was impressed. Not sure if I need to ring existing provider, the letter says to ring with bank details to continue with cover. It's an 0845 number anyway so will ring off peak if I need to.

Bought DD some beautiful bedding from Debenhams earlier (think it's called ballerina) using a giftcard and some wall stickers using Amazon vouchers. She now has a wall mounted flat screen tv so her room looks much better. Just need to dry and iron her bedding and hope that it's to her satisfaction as she complains her current bedding is 'scratchy'! :)

Surveys are quiet and the house is clean and tidy so think I'll work out savings/OP's for September.
