11 hours total stay is pretty good going. I'm hoping for a 6 hour discharge but won't hold my breath as they faff around so much. Consultant visit went well, they are happy with size of baby's tummy but then I had sugar in my sample I took with me so hope that doesn't mean anything. Persuaded consultant to document that I can have a sweep at 39 weeks and they will induce at term+7 but I hope NOT to get to that stage.
Then went shopping and completely overdid it and SPD flared up since! Cold came to nothing though so that's a bonus!
Have made absolutely NO money today - whoops!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Wow Cath, I can't believe baby is due so soon!

Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

It really has flown hasn't it! Can't believe baby will be here in a few weeks.
Have submitted a missing claim to TCB as my home insurance hasn't tracked. It said it will go 'on ice' though? Am wondering if that's in case I cancel the policy? Keep getting screened out of the daily surveys on there when I actually remember to do them.
Bought a few more baby bits and pieces today, had a bargain of 3 grobags and a gro egg for £10. Am selling another item for £5 so that's not bad.
Have had to tke my £30 GTM money out of bank for petrol so am going to transfer money out of current account into house savings otherwise it will get missed.
I get a payrise in a few weeks but I'm not sure how much I will see the benefit on maternity leave. The good thing is when I go back to work I will only be 3 months off another rise so it'll be a big rise in my pay. I'm really hoping I get shortlisted for interview for the job I have applied for.
Right, I really must go and hoover since I have waited for the exhaustion to leave me and it hasn't I might as well just get on with it!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Haven't been around much (found myself on page 4!) as had a rough few days pains wise. Possibly thought things might have been happening as contracting every 20 mins but think my body is just having lots of practise for the big day. I was 37 weeks yesterday so really not long left now. This stop - start business is awful though. Feel drained as had a bad tummy for 3 days.
On the bright side checked online banking today as it's CTC day and noticed my mortgage is £2000 less than I think it should be??? Be interesting to see what it updates to after OP goes out next week as i believe Halifax only amend balance when OP or standard payment made.
Will be back later with more of an update.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Have done a massive food shop and bought a lot of things to throw in slow cooker - if anyone has any good recipes I would be grateful.
At times was hanging onto the trolley in Mr S, good job DH was with me really. Had taken paracetamol before I went out as well. These pains are driving me nuts!
Re: the interesting mortgage balance, I have arranged for a £10 OP tomoro so when it gets updated thurs morning I should know where I am with it.
Bought a few bits and pieces for DD's birthday next week, just need to have a nose on Amazon for some moon sand/dough or playdough sets for her.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

The halifax migration to lloyds systems was last weekend, i presume you were looking onlne banking? My accounts showed some funny amounts, but there was a banner at the top saying not all accounts were available to view, and there were a few questions earlier on both the banking and mortgage threads about balances been wrong online, and the general opinion seems to be it was issues related to this...0 -
DON'T BUY MOON SAND!!!! it's pants and makes a mess everywhere and doesn't stick together properly. Moon dough is much better.
Hope the pains are better this morning0 -

Ah, i did notice the changes. Mortgage balance has got the £2k added back on now! Does that mean Halifax will be updating mortgage balance more frequently now?DON'T BUY MOON SAND!!!! it's pants and makes a mess everywhere and doesn't stick together properly. Moon dough is much better.
This seemed to be the general consensus on my facebook! I have ordered a Mr Potato head playdough set instead - I hope it comes on time!
No pains today thankfully so had a walk around the zoo. Off out for a meal with friends tonight as the first of us is turning 30!
