Sorry to hear about your SPD pain. Not fair about work dumping on you in your condition either, bet you can't wait to start mat leave.
I agree that going with the 0% card deal for the boiler is probably the best bet. Old boilers have a nastly habit of packing up at the most inconvenient times (like Christmas day!), and you'll prob notice a real difference in your bills with a more efficient one.Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -
Well my final week in work nearly finished me off! It was challenging from an experience point of view but I coped well and think I'm getting quite good at my job!! SPD really bad one shift but not so bad on my final shift (did mean I left my support belt in work though). Will pick it up next week if I don't need it before then. Can't drive in it etc and at home I can rest now that i've finished so may cope without it for a few days.
My iron levels have dropped again and now stand at 9.2 despite me taking iron supplements - no wonder I am tired.
Colleagues gave me a good send off, I was tricked into rushing out of kitchen on my way for break to 'help a patient' and found all my colleagues standing there with a cake, flowers and gifts! My manager got me a personal gift which I thought was a nice touch and I can pamper myself with it at some point! I gasped when I opened my voucher when I got home - I have £50 for Debenhams and have no idea what to use it for. I checked online and they do baby stuff but think the voucher is meant for me!!
Am meeting up with some friends later and going to a local carnival where DH works so will pop in to see him which DD will love it. I've told her that i'm not going to work anymore (i think 10 months is long enough for her to think it's forever) but she wants daddy not to go to work!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Ohh thats sweet! Congratulations on starting your mat leave! Hope you manage to get the iron and spd under control now that you are able to rest more. Lovely to get vouchers and presents, do you plan to save them for the future or is there something you need?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Undecided about the vouchers, all I need for the baby really is a mobile but that's not essential so will keep hold of it for now.
I'm not sure if things are happening? I had 6 or 7 definite contractions last night within a couple of hours, don't feel quite right this morning and although pains gone I feel niggly. Also my bump has gone really soft at the top so I don't know if that means baby has moved down. I'm 35 weeks tomoro so really hope it's not the real thing just yet. I don't know whether to rest or keep busy?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I'd say get those feet up a bit now too Mrs. No use encouraging him to come early eh? Take it easy now. You made it!0

You know a lot more than me, but could it be braxton hicks? For me these were quite low down. Sometime when you start to relax (ie finish work) your body just readjusts a bit!! Any worries though and you should call your midwife, she will be happy to give you a check over.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
