So if I get free stuff (I am good at that!) is it a good thing or is it a bad thing because my list gets longer? (I know I haven't done my list yet!)
Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.

Sending all the positive vibes I can muster Rosemary. (We really need a fingers crossed icon don't we?)

Just wanted to reiterate that inventories are not a necessary part of this challenge. I post mine because it keeps me honest!;) And I update it on each month's thread and get that "gulp" feeling every time I look at it which hopefully helps me not to buy any bliddy more!

I'm s'posed to be helping my daughter with back to school stuff and giving her bedroom and wardrobe a thorough tidy, clean, and sort out but my son is off ill and we don't want to wake him up.

So she's been watching the mini series of Pride and Prejudice now that she's finished the book. (She's doing it for GCSE.)

I've been sharpening my pencils, cleaning and reorganising my brushes and throwing some things out!   It is soooooooo hard! Even though the things I'm chucking are things don't really use, and they're getting too old now I just hate doing it. :(

I'm also sorting out a bunch of my more recent mistakes to put on eBay as a bundle too I think.

Just added my work bag make up on to the list. That must be it now!

    Kindest thoughts to you, rosemary.

Just back from a quickie 36 hour in theory de-stress hotel break in N Wales..............Trouble is, the stresses are all still there when you get back IYKWIM! And I've been eating for England plus a few drinks:o

Used a up a Sanctuary salt-scrub sachet from Mother's Day. WIBA? Yes, lovely stuff, leaves some kind of lovely nourishing oil behind on your skin which was fab for my legs which had become crocodile like after being neglected in August. Will put it on the list for my birthday in Nov.

Bought some emery boards from Poundland as I forgot mine, and filed all my nails down short as my hands have been neglected too. Definitely time for a bit more tlc in September methinks!

Hugs, Rosemary, thinking of you and your family

Well done Raven, I have never finished a bottle of nail varnish ever! my nail polishes usually hang around until they have all separated and turned into gross lumpy goo. Will have to start doing PYTM, love the idea of doing this every week.

thank you ladies for all your hugs and good wishes,it really means a lot to me,both DS3 and the rest of the family are trying to remain upbeat as it will probably be the end of oct before we know anything more about the "thing"(he did tell me the long name for it but I forgot and he now has a pet name for it instead(which I also forgot!)
I will of course keep you up to date with any developments

    thanks again

I haven't bothered with dental, make up, footcare or nailcare -I use very little and have quite a lot so don't need to be deterred from buying it. Just the haircare, lotions and potions. Hardest is definitely haircare!

    Thanks for this thread.

UU Superdrug Self Heating Smoothie Mask. WIBA? No. My skin doesn't feel any different at all and although its supposed to be moisturising I still had to slap on the cream. Now down to the BS Warming Mineral Mask which I have higher hopes for.

UU John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hair Repair Mask. WIBA? No. my hair feels just the same as when I use my normal Aussie Mega conditioner. Maybe my hair just didn't need repairing:rotfl:

Now off to file all the horrible hard skin off my heels and give them some love with Neutrogena Hand Cream and cotton socks.

Oh, and I did v.well this morning, Avon girl put the book in the door then sent a text to say she could get the new Herve Leger 50ml EDP and the gift box (purse spray, shower gel, body lotion) for £13 instead of £20 (full price £38) but I resisted. There was a sample of the perfume with the book and its rather nice. Its a good deal and would make a lovely gift but I'm being strong!!:D
