any skin advice please? I figure everyone using stuff up must have come across something good! I've been suffering with spots on my chin, and jaw and above my lip for a few months. They come up, go and then others reappear, fairly big sore spots and also little teeny ones. I went for a facial and she advised they were prob stress related. I'm using all my normal stuff - all dermalogica pre cleanse, cleanser, and moisturiser. I cleanse twice a day, don't wear make up when at home, change pillowcases more often - everything I can do! I've use the dermalogica spot clearing gel, but I only had a sample and I can't afford a full bottle. Basically the gel seems to ease them, then more pop up!!
The rest of my skin is lovely and clear and glowy. I've contemplated the doctors, but it's not bad, bad - just bad for me IYSWIM?

Brighthair I have the same problem, I've recently started using Boots witchhazel & tea tree foaming face wash and the cleanse & toner lotion from the same range (both around £2.99 each) and they seem to be keeping things at bay. In terms of treatment I find that S & G Dr Spot (around £7.99) is the best I've tried. HTH.0

I'm no expert of anything....but perhaps it's got something to do with the fact you know that they are there, so subconsciously you go to touch the area and the oils and usually harmless bacteria and rubbish on the hands could be transferring to your face? this is what usually happens to me as i'm not really used to getting spots and when the doctor said this to me before, it made sense and i made a conscious effort not to touch my face and they cleared up faster? sorry if this isn't fitting to your situation! Also, I apologise for how I put things across, I type a bit too fast that I even struggle to understand me at times (big sentences etc)
UU for moi:-
A 'Possibility' creme brulee bubble bath/shower gel/shampoo (just what it says on the bottle!) WIBA yes! i didn't think I'd like this but bought it (d'oh) as it was reduced from £8 to £2 for a massive bottle on ASOS. I LOVED the creme brulee smell - itwas quite vanillary but not sickly, and the 'possibility' bottle was a slight rip off of Philosophy bottles IYSWIM. It also lasted forever but not in a bad way, bubbled up gorgeously and when i used it as a shampoo one time (curiosity got the better of me!) it wasn't drying or anything.
Swarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL in Dark Spice 52 hair dye WIBA no! it didn't come out anywhere near the colour on the chart! Quite disappointed as i've had colours that have come out bolder in the past, but seeing as I wasn't too sure what colour I wanted to go it just means I can change it fastermight go blonde again next time hehe
Vita Liberata self tan WIBA DEFINATELY it has overtaken my beloved Fake Bake Beyond Bronze and gives a gorgeous natural colour. It has no smell (scientifically proven for 90% of testers!) and the guide colour is so natural and even you could wear it out immediately after applying like a wash off tan! It can be quite pricy in boots etc so I buy mine online for half the price using the google shopping tool (best secret EVER!) so I will have to be ordering some of this in the near future but I am going to use up my last bottle of FB BB first.
Have a good weekend girls, make the most of the sun i hope its not the last of it for the year!x0 -

Hiya my lovely, the ingredient that works in the Dermalogica spot range is Salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is also in many much cheaper ranges. :j My son had great success with the Garnier pads and the clean and clear "toner" which is in a purple bottle but any thing with Salicylic acid in the top half of the ingredients will help open the pore and send them on their way.
Go careful at first though because it can cause irritation and flaking. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

brighthair I completely sympathise - I get the same sort of thing which I think are a combination of hormones and stress - horrible isn't it. Can't add any advice (thanks to those who have though - some interesting stuff there) but I'll cross my fingers that you sort it out.
Couple of thing to report - one UU - Avon overnight renewing foot cream - I've just cut open the tube and used the last dregs and am now sitting with my cotton socks on! WIBA? yes, I probably would. I'm usually a bit sceptical about foot creams but thus one did seem fairly good. I have two more Avon ones still to use first though! Also two foot sprays - which are lovely but I always forget about!
Also, I have to confess to a throw-away Botanics body scrub - i've used about half the tub but really can't stand it! It leaves a really thick coating of grease on your skin which gets all over everything and makes clothes stick to you - horrible! It's heading for the bin! I don't need to buy more as I have a S&G and a FCUK one to go onto, as well as the remains of a Sanctuary salt scrub!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

off to have a look - I've heard good things about the Nick Lowe range at Boots so going to have a look at the ingredients and reviews0 -
The TSV is SBC.:wall::( So I'm safe.
The other brands featured on the day will be L'Occitane, Decleor, Gatineau OPI and Bobbi Brown. (Only the last one poses any danger for me.)
2 UU for me so far:
Boots No 7 colour corrective lotion - WIBA - not sure, am currently using a Clinique equivalent which I bought on a trip to Bicester and liking v much. May do the Boots if I get a voucher but their eyeshadow base is on my want list and will have to take priority!
Clinique facial soap - WIBA - possibly but will probably try the liquid version in a pump dispenser which I think they do (?) when I next need a cleanser for the shower.
Quite a few splutterers so hope to report more later in the month!0
