Firstly a quick word about the deo rocks - my DS (aged 19 3/4 years) uses pitrok and swears by it - I've not tried it myself as I'm not allowed near his!!;)

a couple of UU to report

Boots Expert anti-redness serum - WIBA dont have to as have another in the stash - not sure it does anything to combat the redness but my skin does feel nice when its on.

Dove supreme oil shower gel - WIBA - oh yes - I do get fed up with it and try other shower gels when on offer but I always go back to the Dove ones (have several in my stash from when they were on 4 for £3 at Asda.

Also UU several sample moisturisers that have been lying around for years and a lotus shield sample

Today I've UU a 50 ml Radox Shower Smoothies Tropical Tranquility shower gel (magazine freebie). WIBA? Yes, I loved the smell of coconut. It did have tiny bits in it but I didn't find them annoying like the raspberry seeds in one of the other smoothies from the range.
  • I'm now at the lovely red peeling stage with Quinoderm. I've not put it on tonight as I got asked today whether I had a chemical peel.............!!!
  • Hey,
UU to report: Kneipp Melissa Herbal Bath. WIBA? No, mainly because I don't have the patience for baths. This was very 'herbally' and relaxing, but the main ingredient was citronella (another name for Melissa?) which reminds me too much of mosquito repellent.

Have finished, well, killed another Mitchum deoderant.

WIBA? Yes, very good, and doesn't leave white marks. It has become my staple.

  • Another UU this morning...
John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo WIBA yes it does the job, dont sure about frizz ease but then again haven't been using it with the conditioner, with the serum, with the agents....an advantage is that the JF shampoo/conditioner ranges seem to last forever with me, but I prefer the volume range or the brunette range

    Have a good day x

No 7 Foaming Cleanser (partly paid for with Boots voucher)
Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch-Up
Sachet of No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day Cream (freebie)

So I make that 26 UUs and 10 ins. That compares to 29 UUs and 15 ins in August. So I've "performed" very similarly to August but with less ins :D. I'm very pleased that my UUs continue to be higher than my ins. I'm looking forward to more of the same for October.
  • I have really opted out this month, due to lack of time to read the posts :-( (much as I enjoy doing so).
having scanned the last few pages I can offer the following -

red sore face - try putting some ice cubes in a tea towel and putting on face, it really soothes/calms it down.
deo rocks - I used these for years as a teenage hippy - in the winter they are brilliant. Not enough in the summer for me LOL

Roll on next month - at weekend I will do a stock (stash) take
Best wishes to you all, and promise to try harder next month........

Well it's the last day today, no uus to report but I am well pleased with myself and have managed to stick to the challange. I've actually gone a whole month without buying any toiletries just a couple of essenstials for OH which I used my boots points for. I would of liked to have done better with my uus I think I managed ten. At the mo most of my stash is in 3 boxes in the wardrobe I'd love to get rid of them so I can store my books there which are still in a box in the middle of the dining room, been there since we moved in in june. Can't put up shelves so the only other option is to get rid of the books. That would break my heart.
