No Buying Toiletries In September Challenge!

Oops, 2 more ins today
1 ordered some latest in beauty samples, as they finally have new ones in - I haven't ordered any in about 6 months, so not too bad!
Superdrug hair dye - to be used tonight, as my roots are pretty bad. I haven't tried the Superdrug own brand before, but nothing was on a good offer, so it was easily the cheapest.
So not too bad...0 -

Haha! as if we would forget! welcome back!Boots No7 hair protecting spray. WIBA? No - got it ages ago with a voucher, and does an ok job I think of lookign after hair in sun, but also made mine look really lank and greasy. I didn't actually use it all, just abandoned it on holiday so I could stay under my wieght limit, but I'd never have used it again anyway
Glad you had a good hol, envious of the tan, after a summer of brown legs, mine are looking distinctly pallid again now
Loving the "abandoned toiletries" idea. Might just take my Boots No 7 hair protecting spray bought with a voucher and rarely used (notice any similarity there???!!!) next time I go on holiday and "accidentally " leave it under my sunbed :rotfl:or maybe I could take it through airport security in my hand bag and have it confiscated as being over 100ml. Somehow feels better than having it languish in a drawer ad infinitum or ruthlessly chucking it away!catslovelycats wrote: »Can someone help me pls? Where will I find the other challenges you refer to in your sigs? Thanks
If you list the challenges you're interested in, I'm sure the lovely ladies will give you direct links to the threads! MSE is a bit of a maze to start0 -
um, some more ins....
baby wipes (J&J) and cotton buds - do these count?! I had run out
A new queen of shaves razor - blades for my venus were too expensive and this was on offer at £2
Quinoderm - my skin is still crap, and I know this works (even if it does take several layers of my skin off in the process......)0 -
Some more accidental ins for me too:
L'Oreal Nutrilift body moisturiser - it was on offer in Superdrug and it is huge, but should really have used up my remaining 2 Eucerin minis first. Unfortunately, they smell really horrible and fishy but are supposed to be really good for ultra-dry skin. Hmm...
GOSH eyeliner in golden moss. This is my HG eyeliner that I've used for the past 2 years. I'd been using another GOSH one for a bit but caved and bought this replacement. There was an offer to get a free eyeliner with a mascara, so now I have a mascara that I didn't really want or need, and spent £7 instead of £5. Oops!0 -
I was going to paint my toenails tonight but after a busy day at work I'm not in the mood. I've decided to do lists instead. I feel as though I have done really well recently in using up mini shower gels and so I thought I'd check to see what shower gel I've got left. Here goes:
Radox Smoothies Tropical Tranquility 50 ml (2 or 3 uses left)
Sanex Moisturising Shower Cream for Sensistive Skin 500 ml (one sixth left)
Hotel mini bath and shower gel 30 ml
Sanctuary Body Wash 75 ml
Radox Essentials Energy Boost Shower Gel 250 ml
Avon Naturals Vanilla and Soy Milk Shower Gel 200 ml
Natural Collection Passionfruit Shower Gel 250 ml
Ted Baker Bodywear Body Wash 250 ml
Ted Baker Bodywear Invigorating Body Wash 300 ml
Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit and Lemongrass Body Wash 250 ml
Dove Go Fresh Cucumber and Green Tea Body Wash 250 ml x 2
No 7 Blissful Body Wash 200 ml x 2
I had been thinking I could put shower gel down on my Xmas want list but now realise I can't justify it, especially as I've got lots of bubble bath that I could use in the shower! I will be back with that list in a mo.0 -
So, here's my bubble bath list:
Radox Muscle Soak 500 ml (one use left)
Boots Oil of Evening Primrose Moisturising Creme Bath 100 ml (three quarters left)
Hotel minis x 4 (will probably use as hand wash)
Boots Damask Rose Sensual Bath Essence 200 ml
Spa Bath Essence 120 ml
Elle Macpherson Release the Day Bath Soak 75 ml
Olive Foam Bath 100 ml
Sanctuary Foaming Bath Soak 75 ml
Next Bath Cream 100 ml
Boots Amazon Forest Brazil Nut and Vanilla Bath Cream 75 ml
I have received most of these in gift sets. I don't have baths very often and will use them as foot soaks (could last for years!). I shall also start using some of them as hand washes.0 -
