Yay log me one for today... 4/8

(I'm so naughty, I have been filling a basket with CD's on Amazon and waiting for midnight to pay... Will go pay now... But that NSD is still valid!!)
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

Getting so much easier to do now i'm not buying DIY bits all the time & thanks everyone for the kind words about the kitchen, looking round now (even without the doors), i am so happy i did it & it was worth all the hard work to have a fab finish on a budget :j

Daren't tell you all i have moved all the living room furniture into the new dining room & am starting on the living room this weekend *shakes head at own [STRIKE]stupidity[/STRIKE] motivation

Glad you're pleased with your kitchen, BDINI, but are you mad:eek::eek:...... You deserve a weekend off at least, surely????

Have bought the CD's now * insert super smug grin here* and coz it was after midnight it didn't even really count. :D:D:D

Oh I am so getting the hang of this NSD thing now, it's about adjusting your spending so it all falls into planned places... Which actually when you're forced to think about it really helps you learn to budget. (Is working for me anyway).

  • Good morning everyone!

Yesterday took me up to NSD number 8! Unfortunately, the cupboards are looking bare and I'm not too sure how much longer I can keep this run of NSDs going!

Aren't they great! As usual Chris, you've flummoxed me with your in-depth knowledge of skid-lids :rotfl: Was it Urg's wedding when you found one with pony tails for me?

That's right! Wow you've got a good memory!

Hey don't knock a £200 bike, some of the best fun I have ever had is on stuff I couldn't care less if I scratched while out to do a bit of er, scratching! I quite like Hornets actually. Have an irrational pathalogical loathing of the Bandit mind you- don't even ask why I don't know- I'd honestly rather rock up on a ped!

About those lids... I have seriously got to know where you found those, that top one is a dead ringer for Mr-H haha!

When I get me next one (not telling you what it is you'll take the micky) I am gluing a headscarf to an open face lid- the bike DEMANDS a headscarf and red lippy! (That's practically given it away now haha).

    x H

No knocking intended - I'm with you 100% on both counts:
    1. 'Scratches whilst scratching' on a £200 bike has proved such care-free fun, I'm gonna keep this one!
    2. Bandits ... I'm glad it's not just me! The OH loves them, so I thought I was just being weird!

As for your next bike, if you're going for a new modern classic ... surely not an Enfield? Maybe a Triumph Scrambler/Bonneville/Thruxton? If I had all the money in the world and was buying a new cafe racer I'd get a new Norton - amazing bikes! One of my mates had a couple or so of BSA's - he restored them beautifully ... I wouldn't mind one of those in my vitural garage too!

Anyway, enough of my rambling - good luck collecting NSDs everyone!
:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Ye Gods Wumman! Whatever you are taking/ eating/ imbibing to give you all this energy....could you kindly send some my way :o Really struggling to do the mundane things here, & you're off being Tommy Walsh after doing a full day's work!
Glad you're pleased with your kitchen, BDINI, but are you mad:eek::eek:...... You deserve a weekend off at least, surely????

Spoon - the weekend off is the one after this one when i'm heading home for some pampering & yummy dinners off my dad!!!

BMF - no substances involved surely, although it is good for the waistline as i often forget to eat!!!!
I have to admit to doing all the jobs with one hand in my back moaning about how tired & achy i am, but the energy comes from a desperation to finish all the work by the time winter kicks in, so i can finally enjoy my new central heating in a cosy room rather than something resembling a junk yard!!!!!

Day was majorly exhausting, walked kids to childminder, then went to garage to drop car keys off so they could collect it, walked to train station (about mile and a half in total); got off train walked up hill for a mile with head on wind , looked like a sweaty beetroot when I arrived over an hour late for work. After work was feeling very good so declined lifts back to station as I was determined that if I had slogged it up the hill I was bl**dy well going to enjoy the benefit of going down it (so walked another mile), got off train, walked to garage to collect mended car. Am now exhausted but happy.

Did have to pay 12.00 for train ticket so not a NSD for me. Will have to ensure I don't spend anything tomorrow, I really want to make my target this month!! Have fun everyone.

Hey there Miss EP - Personally I would have counted that as a NSD as if your car hadnt been on the blink you wouldnt have had to buy a train ticket - you didnt spend anything else did you? I think you've been a wee bit hard on yourself after the day you had!!!:)
