    NSD #9 today

Still have the £2 I tucked away for Mvller Corners yesterday - decided I need to go through the contents of my fridge to make some room first (some stuff has been in there so long - mainly bits I was given - that I think they'll have to be thrown ), and the offer is on until Sunday so I'm hoping that waiting another day or two to get them will mean they have a slightly later date on them ;)

Loo Roll twitch got stronger last night - had to start another one, so now only have 5 not in use (plus 3 part used ones) :o

Me too - the notebooks that is. Suddenly decided on the way home from work that i couldn't possibly get any further with my studying without 3 new notebooks, therefore NSD ruined :(

Oh well, going on a very MSE outing tomorrow, to Alton Towers (free tickets for me and DH and half price for DH's son), then staying at a nearby Travelodge in a cheap saver room. Saturday will be spent sightseeing round Derbyshire, then home for tea. Was all bouncy and excited about it when I got home from work, then DH annoyed me by putting the footie on so I'm now sulking in my new bedroom study area with a glass of wine!

Cheryl - be strong honey, you can resist the pull of loo roll!! I nearly panic bought teabags yesterday, thinking we were nearly out, only to find over 400 in the cupboard :)

chrisfreelander54 - glad you're enjoying the frugal eating, I don't think we've ever eaten so well! we just used to chuck some horrible processed meal in the oven, now we eat lovely home made food every day for less than half the money. The best thing is when you get the hang of it, it really doesn't take long and you get a nice stockpile of home-made ready meals in the freezer.

PDD - what did Hubert and the aliens think of the Pope?!

I think its halftime, going downstairs to see if I am still invisible! xx
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....
  • Have only just got in after work and straight to kickboxing with kids (yes, I know, karate AND kickboxing - DHs fault - I'm sticking with the karate only)

I..........am.......kernackered...... and I'm back at work tomorrow at 7.30am :(.

I feel so lost not posting on here everyday! You're right Spoon, it does help to post as often as possible. I miss you lot when I can't get onto the computer :).

No NSD yesterday as I spent on something (though at this moment I can't remember what on). Can't be having a blond moment as I'm brunette..... and it's not a senior moment as I'm not senior ;) (yet).

NSD 11 please Spoon. Hope everyone's well (I will get round to catching up on the thread, I will :o)
