Ye Gods Wumman! Whatever you are taking/ eating/ imbibing to give you all this energy....could you kindly send some my way :o Really struggling to do the mundane things here, & you're off being Tommy Walsh after doing a full day's work!

Just to let you know that I got out of the diver's suit but not till an incident involving last night's supper of beans on toast & a protruding prong of a carving fork  Let's just say that there is now an added escape hatch should the diver ever be caught short

  • Number 10 for me today please! :)

The studying is going OK thanks Spoon, taking a bit of an effort to make myself do it but I've nearly got a quiet study area set up in our bedroom now so I can shut myself away. I'm going to have to be really strict with myself, its far too easy to find excuses not to do it.

Looks like everyone is doing well this month, there's some impressive figures on the front page! Keep going everyone, loving the stories of stockpiling things, and also all the impressive debt-busting and budgeting thats been going on.

Best get back to the books - you haven't seen me here, OK?!

Checked bank account this morning, and the anticipated D/Debit had gone out - so another non-NSD for me. Now half way through the month and only on 8 of 18

Had the 'close and clean' shift today (meaning I worked 1-8:30pm with just a 15 minute break), and couldn't resist a couple of items I was reducing (a cheesecake that's normally £3.99 but I was bringing down to 49p, and a pack of 2 lemon drizzle muffins I keep hearing good things about that were coming down from £1.39 to 19p). Did the normal 'dive to locker, grab discount card and some pennies, dive to - and through - tills, get receipt signed by manager to prove you've paid for goods you have on shop floor, dive back to section' - but between tills and getting receipt signed the HR manager (who was the only one around to sign it) mentioned to me (quietly and to one side) that there's now a sign downstairs saying we can't shop for anything while we're clocked in.... Oooops!!

I apologised, explaining I'd clearly missed it but had been told when I first did the late shift that it was OK for just a couple of clearance items. She then said she'd only put it up today (so must check for/read it tomorrow, and mention it to the lass who comes in for close & clean tomorrow - and the lady who's currently off when she comes back a week on Monday) so would let me off without an official reprimand this time. So no more Whoopsie shopping when I have the last shift of the day :(

Edit: I also forgot to go down this morning for some more Mvller Corner yoghurts, so - as soon as I got home from work - I put the required £2 to one side. As long as that's all I spend tomorrow it'll still be an NSD ;)

Hya folks...sorry missed out on Saturday nght....been rather down since Saturday afternoon...having a visit from the Black Dog, and not enjoying it (who does?!)

This is my first visit to MSE since Saturday...will catch up later. Just thought I would pop on to say hi, and say I will be back once I am coping better with the BD.

See you later, have a good day.

    Hi Keiss
(((((hugs))))), hope you feel better soon. It will lift, just a question of time, as always.

Hope to see you back soon.
    Take care
