    Hi Buffy,

I love your threads - I'm always learning something new and have a lot of time for your thoughts on Self-Help stuff.

I really relate to the point above - I hated work and found myself going in, keeping my head down, and coming out with the pay cheque because it just wasn't worth the emotional energy that I put in. If they didn't value me, then I would do the necessary and get the money. It was hard for me as I am not that sort of person, but like you, I focused on other things in my life (like becoming debt free and my relationship with OH) and it seemed to help balance things.

Things have changed and I will soon be starting a new job. I think I finally turned that corner but I am always a little wary of giving everything to a job now.

    Hope the marking goes okay.

Well the adventures at the Post Office are not so good. I got the monthly visitation this week and it has knocked me out. so I took it easy today. Am going to see Muse tonight and don't want to be tired! ;)

Thoughts wise, I spent last night on the sofa due to a spider - a really BIG spider. I paced in my room for about an hour debating what to do. my room is such a mess (in parts) it is silly. And then the conservatory, yes it is better but it is still a mess and its all me. I can't blame anyone else.

Memorygirl's Mr Big ;) has gotten in to my brain. That letter about all the things that you want out of your life. We truthfully are our own Architect, we design this life we live, we make the choices for the most part.

I don't mean we are responsible for everything - some things are out of our control - other people's reactions, the natural course of ups and downs in everyone's lives that irritatingly we all have to learn stuff from. However our reactions, our choices, from leaving my post ignored on the stairs to staying in a job i mostly can't stand, all the decisions in between build up to my daily experience of life now. It is the nitty gritty that counts, fly lady is right when she says the clutter blocks up our lives. not just paper and stuff but head stuff too. You always have a choice.

I tend to always think its ok to do this now because at some point in the future it will be ok. Trouble is that point hasn't come yet.

In other news, my ex is back in touch. very bizarre. been 18 months with no contact. I feel flattered, surprised and confused.

And there is a job at work that I am going to apply for.

Oops nearly 12 and I have even got dressed yet!!

    xxxx

  • I am really depressed.

Not completely sure why. its a rough month September. I am giving in today. off out tonight to see Muse (my one exciting thing this month)

Just going to hoover and clean the guinea pigs out. The spider episode is bothering me. money is bothering me. time, a to do list. I am waiting for Mum to go on holiday to get a few big house things sorted. I would LOVE a weekend away. My life feels like a giant jigsaw with all the bits in the wrong place. am either near to tears or furious.

please bear in mind this is all probably hormones and I will be fine on Monday again.

The whole ex thing is bugging me too.

right thats that whinge out the way.

    will be back on tomorrow

    Love Buffy xxx
