Positive thoughts vibrate faster and more effectively that negative that's what that guy says. I like Abraham hiccks book and I prefer the audio of te secret much more explainationbxx I like the secret and it's more better to try be positive than negative :-) x

Yeah I am right there with the positive thinking - it does work, but you are right Mags, some days I am just going to be sad or whatever and I don't think that is wrong? I think about people in developing countries? starving, struggling everyday - what are they supposed to do?

And then the stuff about vibrating positively and negatively. hmmmm. I guess I do read people and the "vibe" they give off could be described like that?? but I think it is a or at least seems to me to be a sort of simplistic explanation of people who I do think are complex and feel all sorts of things for all sorts of reasons. And those feelings - as long as they don't hurt the innocent are natural and part of being a human being.

I do like Susan Jeffers, Louise L Hay (although ignore some of the crap about health) and the idea of a vision board (lets face it what single woman in her thirties doesn't have one of those hanging about in her bedroom !!!) is great and very motivating.

I shall read it some more. plus the other book I bought on the law of attraction.

Definatley the health leaves some what desired. I prefer just the think positive feel positive but when in a crap mood only choc will turn it around haha. I will try find memory girls diary. I like a good read. This weather is horrid xx

Exactly Beanie, I mean some of the stuff she says on Cancer is just utterly mental. And the whole thing about abused children/parents relationships are because their "souls" chose it.

I will persevere with the Secret. for a bit longer. not much mind you!!

Today I amlearning that I can cope with my job being the way it is. Tomorrow is Wednesday and I m therefore nearly at the weekend. That means I am one week down nearer the debt free date.

Do you remember AGES age I was trying to tell myself I had to do the work to get the money to pay the debts, once that was over I could take a lower paid job and work more for the love of it ? Well the first bit is finally sinking in !!!

Just got to get through till the end of March, which given how quick this year has gone is going to come round so fast.

Buffy~funny you should say that was just thinking its not long at all til DS will finish sixth year & that not long til Chrimbo then Easter.
Just think by Easter you could be free.
I wonder if your attitude to it all will change when you know you dont have to be there just to pay the debt IYSWIM.

I must admit i refuse to read anything negative about disabilities like that! I often feel like writing back in a very positive manner and telling them where to stick their book- often in places where the sun doesn't shine
Still she brought it on herself by writing it- so fair do's if it is reciprocated 7 fold

That freaks me out about the Secret--the idea that we attract negative things. But the new Secret book "The Power" says that the tipping point is 51%, so long as you are thinking positive 51% of the time things will improve That's rather comforting because I think almost all of us on here manage to be positive around 70% of the time. I know I have the odd day when it's 95% negative and I'm sure most people do but overall it's more than 51% positive.

I really want to read memorygirls diary but it's almost 90 pages long so it's hard to catch up. I've dipped in and out and will read more soon.

Im on page 6 of memory girls and its a long one lol but i must read it .... i try not to dwell on the health side of things just the positive attitude i take it with a pinch of salt but i do utilise the way, havent got the new book would you recommened ? x
