Yesterdays decluttering went well, but still more to do:o
Got an email from Quidco saying they had sent £6.30 to my account so that is being paid off Next.
I have decided that I would like Next paid off by Christmas. So about 3 months to clear just over £1000 and buy Christmas presents:eek:

Well I have made my PAD payment on to Next so another £14 gone:j
Today is get ready for new week day. My weeks start on a Saturday as that is the day I do my food shopping and put petrol in the car so then I can divide up the rest of the money for the week.
So to do today-

empty purse of change
OOH! I also sent my Quidco payment to Next (£6.30)
And although I had made £16 on ebay I spent £5 of that on a christmas present oooops!

You're doing really well!
It's all those little payments that really do add up.
Have you been on the PAD thread? I find that really useful to keep up the motivation to keep on paying, even if it's only a £1 a day.
Happy Friday!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Well I had £6.49 in my purse in change so into the pot it's gone.
Can't believe it is mounting up so quickly.
Thank you to all of you who may or may not read my ramblings.
I get inspiration and motivation from a lot of you whose diarys I read.
Off to check how my ebay sales are going:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
I just did something very non MSE.
I was bidding on some boots for me just because I liked them (don't need them I have a perfectly good pair of boots).
I didn't check the postage amount and put in a maximum bid.
I wasn't going to budge from that maximum bid.
BUT then I got the outbid email and bid again, I was winning until the last minute.
Then I lost them - out bid.
And do you know what I'm pleased I lost them. More money to pay off a debt:jPay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Aaaggghhhh!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
I have just looked at my MBNA statement online and although I over paid £14 last month (by accident I meant to pay it off something else) my minimum payment has gone up!!!!!!
It is usually about £228 a month and I have been paying £230 but this month it is £232.
As much as I wanted to see some debts gone completely I do not want to pay Mr MB anymore money.
From now all overpayments go to attack this card.
My aim is to over pay £700 by Christmas.Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
This is going to be the place where I list my overpayments to MBNA, just so I can keep track and hit my goal of £700 by Christmas.
£6.30 from Quidco (was going to Next but changed it).
Did my snowball calculator again last night and DFD is now looking at being November 2013 so it is coming down just got to knock 14 months of that
Well my 3 items on ebay all have watchers and end tomorrow evening so hoping for some good sales there.
Off to write shopping list now and meal plan the week ahead.Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Hi, just popped in and read your thread. I agree with you that economically it makes more sense to pay the highest APR first, but mentally i would always try to get rid of the smaller debts first. I've currently only got one big debt, so I don't have that problem, but wishing you luck in your journey.0
