Not a very MSE day yesterday.
I bought my winter coat. It is v lovely and will be very snuggly if we have winter like last year. So really it is an investment
But usually when I go on a 'shopping' trip I would come home with loads of bags but yesterday just one bag with my coat in so that was very good for me. I can't say I wasn't tempted with other things in the shops but I just kept focussed. Pre-MSE that would never have happened.
Today.......visiting family so should be quite quiet on the money spending front
Oooh, forgot, another payment to MBNA of £10

Another £2 coin yesterday.
Where I live must have had loads of them from quantative easing :rotfl:
So up to £40 now:)
Yesterday I booked a weekend away for towards the end of October not very MSE but we all need a break sometimes.
I did use a cc but only for safety online. I have half the money saved already and expect to have the other half by the time the bill comes in.
Today I must do some shopping we have no sandwich stuff in the house.
Well off to face the world:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Thanks so much for the message bout ebay...I really want to say I got on and listed stuff...but...:o
I did work in the pub over the weekend though so at least I was doing something on the money front and I've paid that straight off a card.
Must, must, must do it on the next free listing day!

Where are you going for your weekend away?
We are going to Butlins Skegness.
I have paid for half board so won't need much in the way of spending money
And I got told I am getting a bonus on pay day (Friday) so that covers the other half I needed to find before the cc bill comes in :T
BUT I have just picked up a brochure for Lapland.
My DD is getting to the age that she is starting to waver on the Father Christmas being real thing so it would be ideal.
I haven't actually opened the brochure and looked at prices yet though :rotfl:Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Well I haven't posted for a couple of days purely due to life being so busy.
Today is the day before pay day:j
So I have rounded down the balance in my bank acc and made a payment of £8.41 to nasty CC.
Tomorrow I am making my final payment on my catalogue of £73.52 so this will be clear. I am then going to spend the Reward money and reduce the credit limit.
I think the credit limit is currently £8400  that is more than I earn in a year. I'm going to have it reduced to £1000. Not very MSE to keep it but it is 0% interest and handy for my son to use and pay back monthly. BUT I AM NOT GOING TO USE IT FOR MYSELF AGAIN.
Well off to make the MSE packed lunches.
See you later

Well I don't think anyone is listening to me so I shall continue to ramble on to myself.
Just been paid and got a lovely bonus :jwhich I was going to use half of to pay against debt but need a new cooker desperately so that is what I am going to use it for
so I have transferred the money to a savings account for now.
today I am going to pay off my Choice catalogue (£73.52) and then reduce the credit limit as in a post above and then spend the reward money I have earnt on Christmas pressies
Tonight I am going to compile a Christmas spreadsheet so I know what I have bought for who and how much I have spent.
