Well done on clearing the catalogue and good luck with the weight loss, I'm contemplating slimming world again, but won't start until next week as I've already shopped for this week.

Well today is my day off and so far I have taken the kitten to be neutered (£35 but got a fiver off as recommended a friend to the vets) very MSE.
Washing is going in and out of the machine at a rate of knots.
Shopping has been done, more than I wanted to spend but there was not a bean in the house.
Chicken and rice has been cooked for the cat to last the next few days while he gets over his little op.
Plumber has been called to arrange service of the boiler, a little later than it should be this year but at least it will be done before the on set of the really cold weather.
Just a little light housework and then relax:D well pick up the kitten, cook the dinner, wash up, do some ironing.:rotfl:
    Do we ever actually relax?
I put £4 in £2 coins in my pot today to go towards my target of £100 to pay off a debt so getting a little closer to target:)
    Downhill to the weekend:)

Oooh, I forgot to say a few days ago I paid off my Choice catalogue.
I was going to spend the rewards money and then reduce the credit limit to £1000 and keep the account open.
I did order some pyjamas for my GD for Christmas (free pressie) and a dress for DD for Christmas and New Year.
But today I decided I was going to close the account. So after waiting on hold for ages, I got through and closed the account.
They told me I still had reward money and would be receiving a cheque for £20.52:)
Then the account was closed so since joining MSE and the DF diaries I have paid off 2 debts and got rid of £11,900 worth of available credit :j - I don't even earn that much in a year.

Well done on clearing the catalogue and closing it! That reduction in available credit will do loads for your credit record! Even better that you are getting a cheque too.

I need to reduce the credit available on my catalogue too, it surprises me just how much they like to give you!

Today I paid £110.00 overpayment to nasty CC (the one I am currently attacking).
These are the payments I would have normally paid to the 2 catalogues I have rcently paid up and closed.

I wouldn't be in this position if I hadn't come on here.
    Thank you all.

I still have a long way to go but at least now I am going in the right direction:)
