Well Friday again.
Today is pay my £2 PADs off my target debt (MBNA)
Empty all change out of my purse and put in my sealed pot
Write my shopping list for tomorrow and my weekly budget for next week.
After my paying off of my first debt yesterday I decided that I didn't need the things I had ordered from Next before my LBM so packaged them up and booked a return.
Before LBM I would never have done that, I would have shoved them in the wardrobe and eventually have worn them. Feel I should treat myself to a little angel here:A
Off to make my payments and officially start the day.
Have a lovely Friday:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -

There was £5.47 in change in my purse so that has gone into the sealed pot.
Think I will open this 2 weeks before Christmas for the extra food goodies.
Paid £14 (£2 a day PADs) off MBNA.
Just lists to do.
Off to musical theatre lessons for DD now.Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Well done on making MBNA your next target - that one is my biggest balance and highest apr. I can't wait to get rid for ever!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Wasn't going to do the highest interest route as wanted to see some debts actually disappear. But seeing the interest rate changed my mind especially now I have got rid of Additions with an interest rate of 39.7%
Plans for today?
I need a pair of winter work shoes so off to town to look for the best/cheapest options.
Food shopping but need to check what I have in first, I feel a cheap week coming on:)
And to envelopes of money. I have seen this on another thread and have used the method years ago and it works. So going to divide my money up for the week.
Have a good day.Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Today is a new day.
It is going to be the start of a new more positive me.
I have always been the one to put others before myself.
Go shopping for me come back with things for DD, OH wants something he gets it regardless of whether I had wanted the money for something else, phonecall for DS asking to borrow money - he gets it, it is never paid back.
Money cannot buy love. Love is time spent together making memories. I want my DD to remember doing things with Mum and Dad not how much money was spent on her.
My DS is grown and has his own family (although unemployed) he has to learn not to keep coming to me.
This sounds like a massive moan but I am just putting in writing things that need to change.
I want to be debt free, I want to be able to move into a bigger house with my OH and DD in 2 years time.
To achieve these things my attitude must change.
I have always wished for a lottery win (probably like many of us) to sort my problems out but no-one is going to give you anything unless you work for it.
So a more positive attitude and away I go.
So to today-a busy one ahead with a day out with the family in the sunshine. Making the most of it while it is still around:)
I aim to make the day as cheap as possible.
Going in a friend's car - so petrol saved and half price parking.
Drinks for DD in my bag.
I'm learning:)
