Hi o2bfree, you've made a great start. It will be addictive seeing how all those little extra payments make your DFD come forward, so I reckon you've got a good chance of doing it in the 2 years! Good luck with it!

So emptied out by bag to change it (but didn't change it in the end) and found £17.79 in the bottom and a couple of the pockets. So going to start my own sealed pot for Christmas :)

  • Hi o2bfree
Dont you just love it when you find odd bits of money lurking in forgotton places! I found £2.50 in my headset bag at work yesterday that I had left there 'just in case' made my day - (sad but true)

Could not read and run had to pop in to say how well I think you are doing - good for you! Will be following your progress with interest and sending good vibes your way to support you.

So new weekly budget starts today.
Emptied my purse of all loose change this morning and added £3.81 to sealed pot and 2 more £2 coins to my collection.
Will up date my signature with totals later.
Going to continue with paying £2 a day off debts but make one payment of £14 on a Friday.
Food shopping this morning. Going to try and do everthing in one go so no need to go to shops during the week except for fruit, bread and milk.
Thanks to all of you that have visited my diary, you have given me more determination to complete my challenge of DF in 2 years.

Well have been grocery shopping (with a list) and although while walking round I realised my list was not comprehensive enough (I left of all paked lunch items) my bill was only £62.62. It has been topping the £100 mark.
I have probably forgotten some vital items and will need to top up bread and fruit, but I am very pleased.
Also got another £2 coin so in to the pot it has gone.:)

So far today I have done the ironing, so just need to put it away and we are clothed for the week.
Off for a day out today to visit my youngest granddaughter whose 1st birthday it wason Friday. It will definitely be a spend day but will try to keep to a minimum.
Looking at the week ahead. I don't think there will be a no spend day until Friday (will have to ry and change that).

Aren't these diarys addictive? I can't stop reading them and feel as though I am missing something if I don't update mine.
Well have a good Sunday all.
