Anyone heard of about comms? should I take the deal??

Given the consistency of feedback on this outfit I'd put my faith in those who strongly warn against having anything to do with this operation. In fact, NEVER accept ANY offer over the phone - you have no written proof of anything and are therefore at the mercy of whoever is at the other end of the phone (and you don't actually KNOW who that is).0

Yes, it seems you only joined MSE (yesterday) just to tell us about it.
Apart from cynically searching and resurrecting this dead thread you also have tried to get your own (rule breaking) spam thread for this outfit urging us to pm you to get an "unbelievable deal" with them. (That thread now removed).0 -
Yes, i want to rave about this as it's the cheapest I've found. I signed up about 3 months ago, and yes i signed up over the phone with this company but my monthly bill for the past three months has been with t-mobile and when i need to speak to t-mobile i can do so because my contract is WITH TMOBILE! why should it matter how i got the contract? if its gonna be cheaper each month then im gonna go for it! since when did it become a crime to want to thank a company that saved me money, isn't that what money saving expert is about? how is it cynical? i was just voicing my opinion in that i have had good experiences with this company, which i have... i have only needed to talk to someone from this company once since i've signed up, to find out when id be getting a cashback cheque i was promised. I have only posted now because I have recieved the cashback cheque for my contract I was promised when I signed up, given after 3 months. Although mine arrived 2 weeks later than stated. Had i not recieved it, I would be slandering this company for lying, but this may not be the case for everyone, but for me I was given everything I was promised. The only reason I posted and searched this thread was because its the third topped search on google when you type in about comms and i saw it after searching their customer support number to enquire about the lateness of my cheque.
If anything you're the cynical one for outrighted disputing that anyone could ever possibly have a good experience with a company that others havn't in the past? And to be fair, the people who said they had bad experiences may have, I won't deny that, but that was a few years ago with some of these posts and with 3. They signed me up with t-mobile, and this year so how can you say that they're bad when you havn't possibly got enough people recently saying so.0 -
Now 75% of your posts so far are to praise this shower! (though not all remain to be seen)
Good of you to join up to tell us!
so how can you say that they're bad when you havn't possibly got enough
people recently saying so.
Well........ all posts this year (6) before yours are pretty convincing they are worse than "bad".
And you now tell us they broke the contract and paid you your first cashback late!
See facebook to see someone waiting a long time for their second cashback!
I've now been trying to get the second payment from this donkey of a company, but surprise surprise still
haven't received it yet.

just so you know usually for companies to appear third top they have to pay google and there are tricks also to get up the list which are also paid for to other company's out there as well. so being at the top means to me anyway be-aware!
also have a look at trustpilot and reevoo no reviews whatsoever and they are review sites so what you think the consenus is now you where lucky as it goes but i'm more amazed not one single review or should i say worrying out of the whole www!

dug a little deep and people on facebook are not happy, it would seem they are scum/scammers by the general view have a read if you don't believe. I would defently ringing 02 to check what they have done if i where you because when bill time comes it could be a very different story! you may still have time to stop it if they have lied to you just as a thought.

I opened two lines with them, and was promised a certain price plan with T-Mobile. when i checked with T-Mobile why my charges are much higher I found out that they lied to me, and offered me a plan that didn't exist, they never fixed it. also they told me that if I refer friends or family i will receive 20 pounds for each referral, which obviously i never received. so to summarise all i can say is STAY AWAY0

I was telephoned from by Aboutcomms from the number (02392 505041) and they claimed they were T-Mobile and wanted to know whether I wanted to renew my contract. My contract is not due, and I think it is wise NEVER to agree anything with someone phones you - I'll phone them when I want something.
Their website states:
T-mobile offer excellent consumer plans, to join T-mobile call our dedicated sales team on 02392 505048.
If you're with T-mobile already and wish to get a better plan please call our dedicated upgrades team on 02392505041.
They seem to be scammers who do not quite tell the truth0
