    Hi MrsChaos,
    This is the recipe:
    Muesli bars
    · 200g butter
    · 200g muscovado sugar
    · 2 tsp ground cinnamon
    · 4 tbsp honey
    · 500g muesli
    · a handful of pumpkin seeds
    · a handful of chopped dried apricots

    1. heat the oven to 180C. Melt the butter, sugar and honey together with the cinnamon and simmer for 2 minutes. stir in the muesli, pumpkin seeds and dried apricots.
    2. pack the mixture into a lined baking sheet, cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. leave in the tin for 10 minutes, then loosen the edges and turn out. slice into squares and serve cold.

    Hope it is good. x

    Morning all

fun and frolics in Valliland last night...
went to put the recycling box out, as I am putting it down old cat shoots past me up the garden hotly pursued by small black dog!.
Follow them up, shout at dog to 'come here' he did - was one of those waggy dogs, think he was a black westie, anyhoo, copped hold of collar and persuaded him back towards the road expecting a sheepish owner to be around - but no sign. NDN came out and looked - he didn't recognise the dog (he has a lab of his own so might have seen this one being walked IYSWIM). Waited a few minutes; no-one about, hauled very excited dog into house where it promply ate the cat food *roll eyes) and got DS to help me read tag. Phoned up number on tag - frantic owner looking for dog promised to come round pronto - so carried dog and held him in arms until they appeared as the kitties were driving him mad!

    Mummyof5 and mumto5 (((hugs)))

School trip (and coach for same) booked!
