I have JUST popped to Morrisons (note to self MUST stop treating that place like a corner shop) and they are only putting the &^%$*&^%$£ (insert appropriate expletive according to your personal preferences) CHRISTMAS TINS out... you know those big Quality Street et al tins...

    *stamps foot*

I can't think about Christmas until after my birthday!

(although tbh some stocking fillers are 'secreted' away...well they WERE until DS FOUND them:mad:)

Valli - I am sooo looking forward to it! DH is paying full price for the tickets though. He refused to book online and save 10% in case it was raining!
It's been glorious here all week.

Decluttered a phone call tonight. I've been putting it off for ages. One of those calls that you know you're going to be on for an hour or longer. It was 48 minutes so I got off lightly:D

Boddy - glad the reason turned out to be what it was and not something more horrible
Wilf - hope you feel better soon - there's an evil bug going round - I know - I've got it!

Well, went into work this morning and then ended coming home again at lunchtime. Still not over this nasty virus thing. Work were v.understanding and said we don't want to see you until Monday so I'll take tomorrow off too.

I'm on the mend but still feel grotty every so often. Good bit about it was I got to sit in the garden most of the afternoon in the warmth of the sunshine. I made good use of the time by reading some of a book I'm doing some copy editing on. BB had a good time outside but then grumbled when I shut her indoors and let the chickens free range for an hour or so.

Am off to bed shortly - feel as weak as a kitten...

Correct ;) and tonight is Wednesday night, but tomorrow night will be Friday night :rotfl:

Didn't get back on here last night as after dropping Miss A and W at Nan's I came home, changed and went out to friends for the evening. We chatted so much none of us realised the time, at 1.30  I came home ready for Monday morning!

Just caught up here and now off to bedski, with my book and the new Ik*a catalogue :p

    Later gators x

    Hello

Soappie it's took me 3 weeks to feel a bit better, night times are worse, awful ((big bug nuking hugs))

Pigpen I used to live on cereal bars, fruit and milkshakes when I was bf I think. Mine always wanted feeding when food was on the go, smelt it, bf and bottle time. Maybe have a 'Mam's cupboard shelf' the kids aren't allowed to touch?

AnWsMum ooooo is it out, will have to have a look!

A quick pop in before I shower then type up my assignment which is roughed out, yay I managed it.... Just my exam one left :j:j

A busy day as predicted, bit stressful too as things kept going wrong. Got chance to call school so I now know when he needs to get there & that the PE kit I am stressing over gets delivered to school..... Grr she could have said.

Car now has steps so little me can get in without hurting my back, 3 laundry done, bin bag of junk flinged, car serviced (by us), BBQ done even if I ran out of gas ....., poop done, cleared some of benches, think that was it today.

Tomorrow flamingo land so nothing will get done, enjoy everyone x x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

The cake is half-way through baking - after all the fuss I almost forgot about the blackberries and had to put them on top of the crumble mixture as an afterthought, rather than underneath. No more, though, as I've had enough of the kitchen for one day. I've still got to find space for the cauli soup somewhere and then I'm going to have a glass of wine, followed by a cup of tea and my book in bed.

I'll see you all tomorrow. Haircut in the morning, followed by flying. :D Don't think I'll need to do much cooking, other than a pasta or rice bake for tea, using up the rest of the chicken. ;)

I can't have food in the house with DD3.. she has a major eating disorder.. if it is on her plate she cannot eat it.. anything else gets eaten.. and if it is something she knows is someone elses or not alowed it is gone before you blink!

I don't drink milk, cereal bars are for squirrels and fruit.. I am VERY limited what I can eat.. allergies to red fruit, latex allergy rules out the bananas and kiwis I really like and oranges are SO messy.. I can manage 4 grapes before I get tummyache.. I am a nightmare to feed!

I have cornish pasties, bakewell slices and jammie wagon wheels at the mo..

I've had a manic couple of days culminating in a row with DH who is not pulling his weight.

As suspected school won't have DS1 back so I've done the right thing in enrolling him in College. I have begrudgingly paid the £975 by CC. I tried to get some help from the county council and spoke to a condesending pen pusher who told me I should have applied for transport by 30th June. I calmly explained to her that grades were missed and therefore circumstances change and could she take that into consideration? She told me I would have an answer in 6 weeks!
