How long does the FULL SCAN take as so far it has taken 4 hours and 35 minutes?

Tis a loooonnnnng time, how big a hard drive have you got?

Mind you it may well be the 7 years of gumph you may have on it?

Just let it run for a bit longer and see if it completes, would recommend downloading CCleaner after you have finished and give that a run to remove any junk.

Download CCleaner Slim from the link below, CCleaner Slim download is located at the bottom of the link page.

    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds

PS. Make sure you download CCleaner Slim

Once downloaded run CCleaner Slim and let it remove any rubbish it may find, then try running a full scan again with Malwarebytes and post the log file here.

if you are talking about hijackthis log, when you hit save log, change the extension from log to txt, hopefully it should then open in notepad

and it doesn't stop you looking in task manager, performance, and posting the physical ram and commit figures

Sorry missed your post, are you saying malwarebytes did not complete it's scan or it did?

Also are you looking in Malwarebytes log for the text but it is not showing?

Sorry I think we are crossing posts here, ignore my last post and let Malwarebytes finish scanning.

Don't download CCleaner yet, you need to post the Malwarebytes log file first when it has finished scanning and then Hijack this file before doing anything else.

Malwarebytes is still running the FULL SCAN - has been for the past 4 hours and 50 minutes now!

The log for the QUICK SCAN was only saved in Windows pictures folder and therefore no txt was shown - it brought a few dodgy files so I deleted them, and as I could not post them on here, I then started the FULL SCAN which it is still running. Thx for helping me, it is much appreciated.
