    IVE PM YOU
  • What are the chances of buying an xbox and just cause from a store with the game of the week offer blanked out on the posters.

You could phone cs and say you had been overcharged and explain what it said on the poster, even though you couldn't see it.

If anyone asks about the posters you could just say they must have been covered after I bought my console.Do you think this would work?

I don't got the bottle to try.

I doubt you can get a refund in any store, as the refund will go against that particular store's wastage. When a refund is given on an overcharge, becuase the customer gets to keep the product, that product is "wasted" as far as the store is concerned - they can no longer sell an item they do not have. A store has a target set for wastage (around 1-2%). They aren't going to want to add to their wastage due to another store's problem (albeit even though this is a nationwide problem). Although you've bought the item from another store, in order to issue a refund, the store would have to add the item you bought from the other store to their stock system, then give you the item and your money back. This means they've added an item to their stock which they do not have - that item becomes waste. I really can't see that any store is going to be willing to do that.

Ring your local and see what they say.
