Isnt it....I thought she was trying to save money by picking up the items, ringing HO for a price, not getting any joy then saying to her daughter...."thought we might have saved some money".................or something like that....I'll have to watch it again...

Oh, I know you weren't. However, Constantine shouldn't feel the need to justify or explain what other managers do. It's not company policy. I can tell you that much. Beyond that, I can't answer you. Neither can Constantine. He can only guess at why they are doing what they are doing.

Back to second part of question:

The manager refused the r&r, offering free game.

I refused and asked for a photocopy of the SEL. He refused.

So now I have no evidence of the chart or label, how do I stand when I ring HO? - cross-legged isn't a good answer to the question by the way!!!!!!

Nope. That's the "We check 10,000 prices a week so that you don't have to" ad. Wish they'd spend the money and time checking their own before worrying about anybody elses

You won't need evidence. CS will back you on this anyway, as they are fully aware of the problem in the stores.
