MyUserNamesTaken wrote:Sorry for replying to this again, but I think this point needs to be made:
Winnie, remember that the manager has no authority over you or your boyfriend. He's manager of staff in that store. You do not work in that store. Never feel intimidated by any manager in a store. You are the customer, after all. Without customers, there would be no stores.
thanks very much your reply, might be we are too young and this is the first time to try the r&r, so a bit scare...(As well as we are not English, I bet the manger think we were not English, so trying hard to get the game refund for us rather than r&r, so they won't lose much money) but now, after all your (and other MSE) reply, we will ring the head office on money.0 -
MyUserNamesTaken wrote:Constantine, I feel this must be said in defence of those who have been overcharged. If CSD and Management didn't argue, lie and intimidate people in an attempt to get out of honouring the Company policy, they wouldn't have to put up with crap from customers. This is an obvious overcharge due to some idiot sitting up in the Ivory Towers. Management in the stores knows this, as do the CSAs. If the CSAs don't, call a manager. Don't argue it. Honour the policy.
Totally agree about the idiot who came up with this.
I do not disput any of what you say.

Age and nationality are irrelevant, Winnie. You are a customer and a human being. Simple as that. You have been overcharged. The policy applies. Full refund on the bundle. Never allow anyone to intimidate you because of your nationality or age. Good luck and don't give up.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I've seen both sides, Constantine. Please don't assume that my knowledge of things is based merely on what I read here.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I'm not English either, and I got my RnR.
As MyUserNamesTaken says, your age and nationality don't matter at all.
It doesn't say on the poster "This policy only applies to British passport holders over the age of 18."
You have the same rights as everybody else, so don't be intimidated.
I find it totally disgusting that they played on your age and nationality.
That could cause them big trouble, by the way. Anti-discrimination laws, etc.0 -

Was not really aimed at you specifically, more the general audience of the thread.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

I really do have to agree that it is generally Tesco staff that lose it, I never raise my voice, never get frustrated, but some CS staff and store managers show little restraint.0
