What is the success rate for RnR's in Tesco Metro's and Express stores. Are the staff usually on the ball in these small shops? Can anyone answer please?
I've had a couple of R&Rs from a Metro. Their range is so small that I guess the chances of getting one are slim - but not impossible ;)

Has the annuals glitch been fixed everywhere, or just in some stores? I got a Noddy and a Cars today and the discount worked :(

(I did find the sponge scourers though - a whopping 75p R&Red! :o I needed them though! Thanks to OP :))

Anyone else find it strange that Constantine and the other couple of Tesco employees haven't been seen on here for a while?
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

I find it strange that the other thread had been locked and not this one as well. This thread is full of misprices.

No, its still working - I got 2 lots today in 2 diffeent stores. Friend went into the same one an hour later and they'd fixed it though - I assume they can do that in each store. Interestingly enough though, the book guy said that they'd had the offer on for a couple of weeks and I was the first person to complain about an overcharge! So tesco's have probably overcharges a LOT of people - there were at least 2 other people putting annuals in their trolleys when I picked mine up so they've obviously been selling well.

Do you think it'd be called "extracting the urine" if I went back tomorrow and tried to swap the game...?

    Update:

Called in last night, swapped the Tekkan game no problems, they were actually laughing because I'd had the balls to go in and ask, the manager said that how could he say no when I'd been so cheeky as to ask?! rofl

The majority of mine are from my local Metro. I have had loads of Games, CDs and I know of a couple of PSPs which have gone from there aswell. I'm keeping an eye out for the Xbox to come back in stock as the poster is still up.
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

I'm not being paranoid about being 'tracked' by tesco but the following incident today was interesting !

I was getting an R&r on some braiing steak today - no hassle, very friendly chatty staff joking about how they'd go and look for some too. I'd paid cash and hadn't used my Clubcard and she gave me back my £9 odd and then said she just needed a few details. First thing she asked for was my Clubcard number. I said I'd left it at home and certainly couldn't remember it - thats why it didn't show on the receipt. She looked flummoxed (as did her mate) and said 'but we've got to have the number!' I said that some people didn't have Clubcards anyway and asked what theat had to do with the fact that I'd been getting a refund on an overcharge.

Why not give them one of their tempory cardboard cards, at least then thyeywould have a number!

    Mary

I didn't see why I should give them any card at all Mary! Can't see its relevant and, as she was honest enough to say it was so they could track me, I came over all offended ! She was OK about it - agreed not everyone had cards and said she'd do it some other way. Not sure how though - she didn't even ask me to sign her refund slip never mind ask my name and address !

Maybe, but you'd be lucky to find them in the middle of all the 'crap' :rotfl:
