Cheers Dude! I've discovered a right little nest of them using a postcode search in the store locator and I am planning on doing a look see in all of them. Not my usual list of suspects so I won't be worrying about my profile at all!

i could maybe get some more

Saw that one in store on my travels today - the promotion signs have gone - think the offer finished yesterday, so if you had a delivery today you'll probably be out of luck. :(
  • Ok, I know you've been asked this time and time again.... ;)

I've a Xbox and Just Cause instore with the £20 off poster still on display. Have they fixed the fault ? Just to confirm if not, either Xbox consule should work ?

Just saw a woman getting an R&R on homemade burgers in my local tesco express. They are advertised at 2 for £3 but go through at more.

    They look nice too!

It is the Tesco Express in Commercial Street, East London. I'm going down now to stock up!

Dumb question, why ask and then ignore the answer because it isn't the one you wanted?

Take a chance, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Glitches are glitches, you may be lucky, you may have embarassingly left your wallet in the car!
  • So I rang trading standards just to make sure, they are now called Consumer Direct. They agreed with HO but said that if the two prices were still there in two days they would investigate.

You were a bit out of sync.
First off you should re try HO a few times (5) as you always have the right to speak to someone else.
After if you are still not satisfied email CS and Sir Terry, write a snail mail also informing them they have 14 days to sort the problem out before you take it to TS.
    after 14 days...
Phone TS, again feel free to try again and again in the hope you get someone willing to take up the problem.
Finally write an Email and Snail mail TS.
    Sit Back

Aslo worth noting for R&R. As it is a promise set by the retailer and they have failed to back it up, if you have used a credit card and you have no joy from Tesco you can, if you wish, claim the money back off the credit card company. however this only applies to purchases over £100 and less than £30,000. This does not (I think) apply to American Express and Diners Club as they are not from over here as so to speak. The reason is that when using a credit card both the retailer and the credit card company have sold the item to you at the same time, you can choose which one to ask to pay you back but usually it is thought that it is better to go to the retailer first.

If the credit card company refuses to pay up then you can take it to the ombudsman.

It is not usually the line most people would take but I thought it worth pointing out.
