How long does a misprice last on the shlef once it's been mentioned here?

I think about 3 weeks now with the XBOX thing and they're trying to ban ME for taking them up on it when they couldn't be a**ed to correct their mistake.

I'm going to sulk now

I understand your point, Ben. However, a lot of people will just walk away when/if CS start saying "Sorry, no refund....it's only on the game" or other such crap. It's the "concerted attempt" that is going to be the problem. You've already got people panicking about what is going to happen. You've also got the pessimists posting saying that everyone who gets a refund is going to get banned, causing people to think twice about claiming what's rightfully theirs. With this sort of behaviour, it's going to be very hard to get enough people together to make complaints about bannings. Also, we've only had a 2-3 bans over this, yes? If Tesco CS refund everyone else, or the majority without further bans, it's going to be hard to show the bans that have been sanctioned were due only to the customers asking for a full refund on an overcharged item, as per Tesco's advertised policy. When the staff say "He/She was abusive, hence the ban" and it only applies to say 7 people out of say 300, it's going to look a bit more believeable to TS.

If the general gist of the letter is because they believe you are 'abusing' R&R, then as Ben says, you really should make a formal complaint to TS, enclosing a copy of the letter.

Ok I give in I recind all previous advice if you don't get your refund and get banned just roll over and take it

Trespass is a civil offence. You can't get "done" in any criminal sense, as there is no crime of trespass.

I'm saying it's going to be hard to get people to complain to TS, as many people will just accept it. I wouldn't accept it if it happened to me! Also, with people likw LittleJohn posting that everyone who gets a refund through CS will be banned from the stores, a lot of people are going to think twice before complaining to CS! I'm all for people complaining to TS!

In other words, you can't tell me how Tesco has discriminated against the people it has banned on the grounds of race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability? I take it you can't tell me how a store manager would have prior knowledge of your "religion" that would lead him to discriminate against you?

I'm not arguing, Kondormir. I'm merely challenging your line of argument. If you can't answer me, then there's no way you could take this in front of a judge.

Like I said, I believe you're going down the wrong road with this discrimination idea. A far better idea, and one that could well stand up in court, is what Ben is suggesting. I fully agree with Ben's thoughts on the matter. However, I think it will be difficult to put into practice. That's not saying that I think people shouldn't try it. I'm all for them doing it.

BTW, I was never abusive, just kept my calm the whole time
