Update on my call to CS... hadn't had a call back (not surprised), so called them just now... explained again about how I was overcharged for xbox + gotw yesterday, blah blah. Do you know what he said? We are aware that there has been a pricing problem with this item, but I'm afraid that the refund policy doesn't apply to electrical items as they're too expensive :rotfl: :rotfl: told him then it that case they should state any exclusions on their policy board, they can't apply it to some items and not others . He's gonna call the store and then call me back......

Is the offer on Consoles and GOTW still running because in my local Tesco there is not one sign, SEL, poster, nada nothing to mention this. Can stores opt out of promotions like this or are they being naughty by not advertising? Also my local did not have the Oil of Olay on BOGOF - are they a bit late with this also? And yes other supermarkets are cheaper than Tesco for general shopping - I am currently enjoying Pepsi 24 cans for £3 in Asda as opposed to 12 for £2.35 in Mt T's.

PS, if any members of the Church of Consumer Rights is interested in pursueing a claim I would be only to happy to escort them to the store and record them being told to leave on the grounds of abusing the refunds policy. I would also be willing to inform the store manager that he is not allowed to do this as it is the persons religious and legal right to enforce consumer rights.

Kondormir, you are still missing the point. None of the above is relevant. Firstly, you need to do a lot more than what you have already done to have a religion recognised in the eyes of the Law. Any reasonable judge would laugh you out of court. Secondly, you are still citing irrelevant cases. Please tell me how Tesco is discriminating against people it has banned in terms of race, religion, nationality, sexuality, gender or disability? You cannot count your "religion", as already stated. Also, how would a store manager have prior knowledge of your "religion" that would lead him to discriminate against you?
