but does anyone know if the BOGOF on oil of olay body wash is still not working and so a possible r+r?

If it works you get one free, if it doesn't you get both free, sounds like a good deal.

Have to agree with this - Tesco MUST have been ordered to do R&R, I can think of no other reason why they perservere with it when no other store any longer does it. I also have a feeling the ad showing Prunella Scales demonstating the art of the serial R&R'er must have been in the 'agreement'. The LAST Thing Tesco would want atm IMHO is this R&R policy getting in the national press as a result of someone taking them to court over a banning! I reckon anybody banned from Tesco for R&R should call their bluff...

My point exactly. I wonder how far Tesco would like to take this. I wish they would ban me!

Would this count as an R&R.... Picked up a computer game (one of 4 of the same title) was charged more than SEL but CS said SEL was for different item?

Seriously, the very first thing I would do if I got banned from a particular store is have some leaflets printed explaining R&R and what to look for and distribute them to the people going into the store.

We could probably put our heads together and make a pretty damaging one!

This would just make then withdraw the R&R policy all together.

Ben, the problem here is proving the reason for the ban. They won't admit why they have banned the OP. The OP won't even get a letter informing of the ban. I agree that the OP should report it to Trading Standards, however, as it is definitely intimidation. It could also be seen as an attempt to pervert the course of justice. It could be argued that a store manager who has banned a customer for what he says is an abuse of the R&R policy is trying to stop said customer from spotting any more offences. I do know how to suck grapes honestly, I understand your point it would seem you don't understand mine though, as all T/S dealings with Tesco are handled out of one office, IF all those that get banned immediately following a refund and replace it will very quickly become apparent that a concerted attempt to flout trading laws is taking place, EVERYONE who gets a ban be it verbally or in writing will be able to demonstrate that they have made an attempt to refund and replace immediately prior to the ban, they will not need to demonstrate the reason for the ban as it will become apparent very very quickly if ALL report their bans giving the circumstances building up to the ban, yes Tesco can claim "Well this person threatened our tattood fatty" but how many times is that excuse going to hold up? especially if your a frail old lady with no protection other than a manky old trolley. MAKE THE COMPLAINT.
