Cheekymole, ur soooo funny I almost wet myself with some of your posts today. I think we should start a campaign to have your ban lifted or perhaps look out for any halloween stuff to RnR so you can go in disguise.0 -
Is it fair to assume that Tesco staff also read this forum and then make sure their SEL's are up-to-date?
How long does a misprice last on the shlef once it's been mentioned here?
Most of the time I am about 1/2 day behind so would the misprice still be there when I got there.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

hi, been in touch with t/s, there is nothing they can do, although they said they have to give you written notice for a ban to be effective, also you could be done for trespass if you go to a store, and accordingly, one store can ban you from all. had more luck with the ico for my data being protected although they need it in writing, about being banned and passing info on to other stores, they also said that one store should not be able to pass info to another store about you, nor should head office be able to do this.0

MyUserNamesTaken, no offence but I am not going to reply this time purely because it is starting to feel more like an argument than a discussion. I know your not that type of person but to an outside or newuser it could look that way. I will take everything you have said on board ok me ol mateyHas anyone actually recieved an answer on this?? I phoned and have not yet heard a reply.
What grounds could they pull the promotion???
Just to clarify, they are well within their rights to pull a promotion for whatever reason they wish. The only rule is that it must be unambiguous in so much as to say it would not be right if you had some indication that the offer was still on and then found out after paying that the offer was not.
Generally speaking if the offer is displayed in store then it is felt that it is ambiguous, if the offer is not displayed instore and the pricing they display is correct then to be honest they are probably in right.
I say probably because there is a slight chance that they really mucked up and you have some evidence to state that no where in store was you told an offer had ended in a store which had previously had the offer on, niether was there any indication that the offer could be ended subject to any other conditions other than date.
It should be noted however that there is more than one rule in play, the store has a right to correct its mistakes so for instance if it said it had a special offer on where you could buy a TV for 10p for the next month and decided to remove the special offer because it was a mistake then it would be ok for the store to do that.
I think in general, Tesco have made a mistake and are allowed to remove the offer if they wish. It would be wrong for a customer to expect Tesco to keep a mistake running if it was an error and as such they do have the right to remove it.0 -
I will keep you all posted on the contents of "THE LETTER" when it arrivesI haven't got one!0

Yes they do read the forum and sometimes they have acted very fast on the info provided here. :rotfl:

Not very long some have even been cleared up in a matter of weeks.:rotfl: :rotfl:

That's ok Tesco's timetable runs around a week behind the rest of the world so half a day shouldn't stop you bagging a bargain. :rotfl:Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
