I don't supose they would be bothered to impliment the ban unless you found a R&R and then they could say you shouldn't have been in the store anyway.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
Anyone had any news either way from CS?In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I've been hearing good things about the team dealing with the PSP/PS2/XBOX/DS fiasco, but I have to say I've not been so pleased with them!!
Rang up HO this morning & spoke to Kevin Kelly about my PSP+Tekken misprice, and he initially said it only applied to the £220-ish PSP pack, which I countered with "there was no sign to that effect", and he then said the CS woman probably needed retraining for offering to refund me the cost of the game! Am now waiting for him to come back to me, but I will not be fobbed off!!
Anyone else had this kind of malarky with HO? I thought they knew it was a real R&R and were just refunding - seems to me they are still trying to wriggle out of it..?
DKLightbulb moment March 2004 (Debt £55,000) & debt-free as of May 2007 (thanks to CCCS, and a remortgage to clear last £20,000).

Little_John wrote:Hmm interesting maybe you could call Salford Trading standards and tell them. I sent TS in to a store over the PSP and cars probelm a month ago and they just warned them to make their posters more specific.
I know they are both xboxes and I knew that the "psp black base pack" is a PSP console but the posters says PSP CONSOLE or XBOX 360 CONSOLE therefore tesco can say that you needed to buy an xbox360 console and you bought the xbox 360 core which isnt an xbox 360 console as per their descriptions. It just so happened that the PSP's with yellow sels did have the word console in the sel description. They are covered by should things go to court or whatever. but we all know that they are still all consoles It all depends how much you want the xbox 360 I would have played just cause and sold it on after I finished it, lineing the pockets of Mr Gates is against my religion. I wanted the premium so I wasnt bothered that is why I took the refund and somthing I wasnt bothered about getting isnt somthing I want to be giving my details to Head office for.
Ths is very true but as far as tesco and legalities go the only item on the shelf described as xbox360 console is the premium pack. so they can say the offer only stands on that item. It sucks but it is a way out for them.
Who on earth left you with this impression surely not Trading Standards (which is how I understand it) If it was I suggest you call them back and speak with a manager as the person you have dealt with thus far has given you very poor service and even poorer quality advice.
Anybody purchasing ANY xbox unit along with game of the week should be seeking full r&r, none of the xbox units are excluded by the wording of the pos, ALL xbox units can be understood to be included as per the wording of the pos and any reasonable person would expect them to be, if they only intended the offer to apply to the premium unit that should have been made clearly understandable from ANY pos material.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

No idea :I
I spoke to Joanna about this (on Friday) and she came right out and said that I was entitled to a full refund after I explained what had happened.
Kevin seems to be running out of patience now with all the misprices!0 -
Just spoken to a mate of mine who was refused a refund. She said that she'd been phoned back by CS asking for her to send in her receipt so that they can investigate. Anyone else had this? Personally, I think this is unacceptable, as CS can check with the store to see if she made the purchase. The Tesco receipts are very clear in their numbering. At the very bottom of the receipt, you'll see the date, time, store number, another number, till operator number and then a final number. If you quote the numbers at the bottom of the receipt, CS CAN find the transaction by ringing the store. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

on the phone to them now and they are saying that as I accepted the game, that has concluded the matter (that closes the contract). Am arguing that I was not given any other option, so will see what they say to that....0

No? I'd probably send them a photocopy only, as receipts can so easily and often be lost in the post...0
