No joy for HO on the £20.00 off handsets, out of date poster. Manager refuses HO can't overrule him!!!.

Here's the twist...I recorded all the calls.. his return call on my mobile and the first call i made to him. where do I stand now?? Got HO saying "No" and got this mysterious Andrew and section leader saying "yes" which i have recorded.

Do you think ive got a chance of get my r&r? Any suggestions??

Fighting this because of the poster not having asterix next to the £20.00 offer and the wording seems to be saying that the £10.00 offer finished on the 17th September.

Talking to the CS girl today she says a gang of price change girls come in every morning (ours is a 24 hour store) at 3 oclock and check all the SEL. Do you think this is true ? And if so is it the same at all Tescos?

I think alot will be learnt from the whole saga.

Head office now know how bad the team who come up with the offers are at thinking them through and implemanting them.
Problems with entering correct prices on their central system and the speed that stores are updated after a change.
How bad the stores are at checking prices are correct and offers work
Problems with managers being agressive and not sticking to policy
Lack of product knowledge by some departement heads not knowing the difference between some items.
Stores not carrying out instructions when asked to remove or modify the posters.

They also know that there are group of people that will find the weak stores and exploit them.

Ole1973: Like I said I know I was right the woman at CS said she was right, The store isnt that local to me but I have a customer I visit almost weekly so I call in alot I really wanted the premium xbox so I had no real reason to jump down anyones throates over it I would much rather have the PSP I am fighting for.

Who knows maybe you should visit your store at 3 am and see what happens?

I have seen people going round with PDA's with a scanner attached checking the SELs that they scan correctly but shouldnt they check the product as well incase there is a barcode mixup?
