    Mortgage-free Glee!
I would second the idea of posting on freecycle for a car - there have been several on our local site offered recently - any thing is worth a go.

Okay... enough wallowing in it .....
time to pick myself up and crack on .....
I like the good stuff bad stuff thread that someone is running so decided to have a bash at that ....

    Good Stuff
My boys will have developed their learning and creativity skills whilst breaking my house and eating all the toothpaste whilst I wasnt looking
we have food in the house although non of it is chocloate
I have a partner that loves me even thos he can be a complete !!!!!!
I have four beautiful children in my life especially when they are covered in mud from the garden
I have a house / home -even if I am so embarressed about it that I wont invite people around
i have lots of fluff although it may possibly not be mystic - possibly septic!
I still manage to hang onto my dreams

    the bad stuff

I have a house - I hate it, the mortgage kills us and we cant get out.
I have a partner who can be a complete !!!!!! ,,,i am however perfect in every way.
I have four beautiful children who leave me stressed, deprived of sleep and moneyless.
I have three cars and a motorbike non of which are any good
I want to do a degree but cant afford it.
I hate the majority of my life but i guess things can only get better from here
I still manage to hang onto my dreams

  • I would get some help with the bank situation - perhaps the CAB can help as it sounds like they are being really unfair giving you more charges- at least it might make you feel you were getting somewhere then. Also as suggested above you need to review your SOA with CCS and see if they can help.

we only just had out SOA done with the CCCS so it is up to date. some of it is affected by the fact that we have the step children down for weekends and long chunks through the hols. We have to give money for them but no allowance for what we have to spend on them when they are here, ( not that a penny is ever begrudged) - anyway, kids is another issue dont get me started on the step children thing or it will take me over the edge!!!

I appreciate what people are saying about freecycle and I will give it a go, like you say, you never know but I just dont want to end up with someone elses vehicle that is about to go wrong. We dont have the space, nor the money to fix yet another but more importantly, i just couldnt take the stress of having yet another vehicle that every morning you are praying that it will start to get you into work.
but I will try. You never know,,,there maybe some crazy old guy out there with more money than he knows what to do with you would take pity on someone with really bad bags under her eyes and a snotty handkerchief!

As i was saying before I started waffling, we are on the maximum allowances I think for almiost every catergory with the CCCS, and we really dont fritter money away. Just have a ridiculous mortgage ( and we only live in a 3 bedroom ex council house ), both my boys are still in nappys ( and I am doing everything to get them out), we have to have two cars due to work and no transport in this town and our combined fuel bill is between £300 - £350 a month and we make NO unnecessary journeys as we are so aware of how much fuel costs ...
oh lord, I have run out of steam with this. Nothings gonna change with me droning on and blo0dy on.

I don't if you thought of the Open University to do your degree and they may be able to offer you some financial assistance as well.

go to https://www.open.ac.uk to see if you qualify.

yep already been there done that... we are in this horrible middle bit where we dont earn enough to have what I would call a decent standard of living but we earn too much to get any help with anything what so ever. Ive already spoken to the OU at length and I am out of the picture in regard to getting any help.
Despite which, any help wouldnt be any good as we have nothing to spare to add to it.
I guess i will have to see what happens in a few years, trouble is by that point i wont be doing it to help my career only as an interest thing, which isnt that bad a thing but i could do with it now.
    thankyou for the thought tho.

  to who ever decided to post an anonomous posting on my blog....
exactly where have i made out that I am entitled to anything....
the main reason that I wouldnt consider bankcruptcy is because I believe that we should pay it back... it would have been better if you had read all of the posts properly before commenting.
I dont think that I am entitled to anything ...
thats my whole frustration with my life .... i cant access anything because in this world you have to pay for everything and i am too proud to accept hand outs and freebies.
as for me exagerating about my life collapsing .. thats how it feels, not a week ago and maybe not tomorow, but today I am knacjkered, frustrated and fed up with my lot. ... i know that people have it a lot worse than me and i have mentioned that already in my postings ... and i work with the homeless so i know what I am talking about , but i will tell you something else, they also have access to a damn site more help than I do.
you have made me un believably angry. this forum states quite clearly that it is not a place for judgement. i said right at the start of my postings that i didnt want sympathy i just needed to rant.
there are lots of other things going on in my life that you know nothing about, all of which have contributed to me feeling like this today. Maybe i was wrong to have posted it out on here if I didnt want people like you nosing in on it... and if you had bothered to read all of the postings you would also have seen that I have commented myself on needing to pick myself up and stop wallowing in it.
you have to be a male because I am sure a female would never bother to make a comment like that without checking all the details first.
    hmph!

klare, try not to let anyone upset you. You have presented yourself very well, your situation sounds very difficult and if you can't let off steam here where can you! If someone is posting unsympathetic messages then they are not in agreement with the huge majority. We seem to have a rash of trolls at the mo... or perhaps a few busy ones... it seems to be going round!

Congrats on the 'good stuff, bad stuff' thing and being able to see some of the positive things... small steps and all that :)

I feel like this from time to time

One thing I do is screaming, personally, I find it helps. the police havent been called yet. So I think its OK. I scream kick and generally go fing mad.

Oh sits in the lounge turns tv up lets me get on with it.

Its not a solution but I do find it helps.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

and another thing.......... ( lol I am guessing anger is more productive than patheticness) ......... why post on my blog...... maybe you arent a guy after all because you obviously havent got any balls or you would have posted that thread on here would you gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... now dont make me hurt you!!!!!!

thanks kathfisch , luckily people like that dont bother me, slightly iritate me , a bit like a fly that wont go away but apart from that I am cool with them ... i just dont need someone telling me that things arent that bad right now because they bloody well are! and you cant measure your own situation by someone else's . I know guys that are homeless and they are fine with it ( i know this is a raretiy!!! before anyone jumps on that band wagon i work in this sector remember) I am just trying to point out that it only ever relevent to the individual thats all .
Anyway, I am now deciding on my next plan of action... will update when I have a plan as to how I am going to raise this money and get it paid off .....

oh, and another thing ,,,, mrs/mr/ anonoamous,,, you have no idea as to how I ended up in this mess of debt, so again dont bother making a judgment until you have all the facts,,,.,,, oh and dont ever consider becoming a barrister / detective / journalist etc as a career because you would be cr#p .

GAWD I am really hacked off at you!

:EasterBun ... now look what you made me go and do!
