  • Due to a foul-up my wife and I have separate clubcards. Failed to get my statement online because of a "not recognised" problem as reported by others here, but no problem with my wife's, found £8 of vouchers we knew about and £35 that we didn't even realise we had lost (oldest February 2009).
So promptly ordered £80 of wine coupons with £40 of vouchers.

But now I looked at tesco's wine website I see that hardly any of the "finest" wine (that's what the coupon has to be spent on, I think) is currently available. And it has to be spent by 5 Dec, is that right ?

I just emailed tesco wine to ask if the recommended substitutes for the unavailable "finest" items are o.k. to buy with the coupon code.

I'll call them tomorrow morning to sort out my account access, was looking forward to finding lots more money to spend on wine, but now I'm not so sure !
  • Saved myself £24.50 @ tesco thanks to Martins moneysavingexperts.com/tescoreclaim
managed to reclaim all the unused vouchers I'd had over the last 2 years...
When on line and purchased their special offers only, and saved another £10. Bought heavy bulky items, pop, meat ect so saved myself the hastle of loading them int my car and carrying then too!!

    Chordeiles:

    1) You should be able to get access to your 'myaccount' via your own email address. You can't access two clubcards via one email address.
    2) Consider in the future having a joint account - linking both cards together - Tesco need to speak both account holders in the same 'phone call.
    3) Might have been better to check availability first, before you converted to Finest Wine tokens - and yes they need to be spent by the 5th - on the 6th they're dead! If still unused return to Clubcard for points credit.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard
  • Right i've got in, and i've got some vouchers but i can't get into my account,

It takes me to a page, where they want my clubcard details to go further, and it's one that i can't find or even remember, due to the days where there was a 250 points spend on £10 worth of toilitries, or a£5 spend if it was bogof..........ah those were the good old days.

any idea as to how to get in, don't want to ring tesco, did the other day, and he merged 4 accounts....lol and even found £40 worth of vouchers that i'd never received from my creditcard account.

    thanks

Exactly the same question I'm asking! The only idea I've had is to pick up a new clubcard from tesco, & enter the new number into my account (it allows you to do this if you've only got a virtual clubcard) Anyone any thoughts on this?
    Next year we'll be millionaires!
  • I had £61 in old tesco vouchers.. which equates to £240 which we have used for hilton hotel vouchers!!
Does anyone know which is better the tesco reward scheme or nectar points?? Thank you
  • Well, I got logged in with the help of the helpline (0800 number, thanks for that Tesco). Apparently I had used the abbreviated form of my first name when I first shopped at Tesco.com, or else when filling in my clubcard application all those years ago.

And there was another £25.50 worth of vouchers to add to those we found yesterday in my wife's account.

When I think about it, I'm quite sure that we have probably lost a few vouchers over the years, but equally I am darned sure we haven't lost £60.50 worth in the last two years. Most will have been simply spent in the store, I strongly suspect that Tesco's system is bad at cancelling them. It's a bit like playing "Monopoly" and picking up the "bank error in your favour" card !

I guess these too will be doubled up into wine, I'm disappointed that the choice at my usual price point is so depleted, but at half price I'll probably move upmarket and stop complaining.
  • I have found £16 that I didn't know I had, how do I double up? Thanks

Brilliant tip on finding "lost" vouchers. I moved house recently and lost about £40 worth in the move. Going to use them online and stock up on Christmas booze! Cheers!

Go to http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/clubcard/bigexchange.asp and there is a link to double up online.
