Hello again everyone,
Thanks for the giggles about looking dopey guys
:rotfl:OH said I always look a bit dopey (cheeky s*d!), so the midwife might have just been seeing my ‘I haven’t slept properly for 8 and half months’ eyes’!! I think it’ll be a permanent thing now….:rotfl::)
Kezlou – glad to hear that you sound a little better today.
Hungry caterpillar is a fab book. Unfortunately sainsburys didn’t have any baby clothes with it on, so might get mum to have a look in her one for me….
Bitsy – a messy dirty house stresses me out too, so I completely understand where you’re coming from and don’t think its batty at all. As for not letting it get to you, I struggle with that!
Sometimes just doing a bit of tidying is the only way I feel better, even if its just taking the rubbish out in the TV ad break or swishing round the kitchen worktops. its amazing how much you can get done in a TV ad break. Sorry, not much help there.:o I think there is a thread somewhere on OS about coping with housework when you're not well, and how to manage things. While I'm not saying you're unwell, there was loads of useful tips on it.
Candygirl – your new bloke sounds fab! If he has big rugby player thighs, I’m assuming his bum isn’t bad either!:p:D;) Big broad shoulders and backs are the thing that does it for me.:D
OK peeps, I'm wilting, so might go for a nap and recharge the batteries a bit.

Hello again :-) surgery went fine and I didn't need any stitches!! Just have to keep dressings on for 5 days. I had a little bit of a funny turn afterwards and had to lie down for a bit, but was fine after that.
We headed into town afterwards. I looked in poundland for enamel plates but they didn't have any, and neither did any of the charity shops so I just ended up going to Lakeland, but they have 3 for 2 on all their enamel bakeware so I got 2 plates and a pie dish :-)
Almost bought the easiyo ice cream maker but held off ha ha :-)the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
GK - I saw those enamle plates y'day picked one up then put it back
You know your getting old when yougo to the pub sit outsideand admire the hanging basket

I was up at 5.30 helping my eldest get all his camping gear packed as he was leaving for The Reading Festival at 7, then as soon as he left I wizzed around to mum's house as she has cancer and hasn't been well these last few days. When I got there she was gone which gave me a start - no note or anything! I rang the local hospital and she was in A & E but by the time I arrived she was on a ward and not looking too bad so i'm pleased they are taking care of her. I've come home and started sneezing, it's cold and damp and i'm so tempted to put on the heating but trying to hold back......
Hope your mum is okay xx
