[QUOTE=Jen151;42821896 Well i got some more info on maternity leave & redundancy at work today. Apparantly if im PG just now, then i will get the full maternity pay as a lump sum along with the redundancy money
But if not PG this cycle - will get nothing!
    No pressure there!!!!!

Little to no chance of being pg this month so the ttc break looks set to go ahead.

Ah, sending lots of good wishes your way!!!!!

    Afternoon girls.

I've got all nervous. I've called doctors to discuss fertility after FF said my LP average was 9 and my last one was 7.
    Waiting for a triage call...

    I'm all shaky!

People do get pregnant with short LP, don't loose hope :grouphug:

Evening all, went to the doc's this morning about my dizzy head and apparently I have a virus, which may take up to two months to clear. Good thing is it shouldn't affect ttc and the pills he gave me don't say I can't take them if pregnant. So thats good...

Hope you feel a little better with the medication and it clears up soon :)

CD49 here and I'm preying for a + opk tomorrow after having faint lines for a few days, otherwise I'll be fairly annoyed

    evening ladies!!!

well hello to all the newbies I hope your stay is short!!!!!

Royal Jelly questions, I don't know much but what I did discover was that it was good for fertility and hayfever and endocrine probs. I take 100mg a day at the mo, you can take 200mg a day but as I am asthmatic I am being careful and in a months time i will up the dose. Its not instant although some people have reported it causes them to ov earlier. Definately seems to have a positive affect on people using IVF as it helps them produce very healthy eggs. So fingers crossed!!! the only thing I have noticed is that yesterday I had a very tiny spot of pink spotting. Extremely small, guessing it might have been ov spotting hmmmm

i'm on cd11 ( i think! ) lots of EWCM so baby dancing here tonight :D

    Hi and welcome:wave:
I noticed you posted on the 12month+ forums as well, you are welcome to post on both threads (like me:p)?

How much weight do you need to lose? I know they won't give you Clomid until you get down to a certain BMI.

I take Pregnacare too, but for short LP, you may need more, like Vitamin B100 complex?http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=107&prodid=395

I have about 1 1/2 stone to lose till im the same weight as when i fell pregnant with dd.... There was no mention of my BMI though it is quite high. Ideally id like to lose about 4 stone more, im over weight but i know people a lot bigger than me (mainly my sister in laws! lol) who fall pregnant so i dont hold with this "oh its just because you're too fat" rubbish.. anyhoo... just keep swimming! lol :)

emsbet - welcome! don't be afraid to ask questions - there's always someone around to help! congrats on your wedding! BEST DAY EVER!!!!! I loved mine :o
Derby - red raspberry leaf is meant to help with LP, I think- it thickens the lining or something
    lullypops - welcome

QQ and Tinksy - Just listening to Radio 4 and they are talking about Royal Jelly for helping babies feed and improving fertility!

Admittedly it's the morning drama by Roald Dahl and the baby (and husband) in question is gradually turning into some freakish giant baby-bee hybrid, but interesting all the same.
    :rotfl:

:rotfl: I remember reading that story! Very strange. I like you, DJ, your posts make me laugh! :D Question - did you used to be married to someone called Jack, or is there more randomness to your name than that?!

Can i also ask which vitamins everyone takes. After reading various forums over the net, it seems there's quite a few that I should be taking.
Right now its only Folic Acid and Vit B complex for me.

    Thanks!

I only take Folic Acid at the mo...was planning to only start taking anything else once I actually am preg. Guess I'll go for pregnacare or similar.

Smash - hope you feel better soon. I had a trapped shoulder for over a year, ages ago now. It was horrible! Eventually I got rid of it through acupuncture, but took a long time and even now I sometimes get a twinge if I'm very cold/stressed and tensing my shoulders.

Welcome to all the new people! Welcome to the crazy and mildly obsessed world of TTC! :p Don't worry about not knowing all the lingo - I only joined this thread in January and I didn't have a clue then. I refused at first to refer to sex and BD-ing, as I find it a bit strange, to say the least! However, after a while I found talking about "having sex" all the time made me feel like a bit of a slag(!) so now I'm happy to BD! :D

Well, AF has stopped, yay! :j Was very light, only really needed tampons for one day (sorry, TMI I know, lol) Today I have EWCM - I'm assuming that can't be ov, right?! I also feel quite crampy and very grumpy today :o

I am DETERMINED that this is going to be the month! PMA PMA PMA! I WILL get up the duff this cycle, dammit!

  • Hi Ladies

Sorry for just disappearing. It just all gets a bit too much this TTC malarky and I needed to get away from it all! I'm feeling alot better now though after having a break and not obbsessing about it every 5 minutes :o

I got to CD90 last cycle and am probably at about CD65 now. My BMI is 15. something so this probably has alot to do with it and I think i've accepted that realistically i'm not going to get regular cycles/get pregnant it being that low!! I don't have an eating problem I just don't seem to put on weight so now i'm going to concentrate on fattening up :D

I'll probably just lurk for a bit as I don't think much is going to be happening here.

Congrats to all the BFP's this month :j
