Thanks Colli. Didn't have the best start to the day either as had a bit of a tiff with my OH.

He was having a hissy fit over the bins this morning. I still don't know why, but it took a good 5-10 minutes to even get that out of him. He thinks I should just leave him alone when he says it's not to do with me, but doesn't seem to realise that I worry that means something could be wrong with his brother again (especially as we were told earlier this week that his brother had a bad day on Sunday/Monday)! Winds me up no end when he continually says nothing is wrong, when clearly there is, and doesn't appreciate that a) it worries me and b) telling me the problem (or at least saying can we talk about it later instead) first off would save us both a lot of time and hassle. Arghhhhhhh!

Thanks QQ. I found that the night I asked and it seems to say my FSH & LH are in the "excellent" category! :j VERY happy about that!!:D
Now... if I can shift some more of the spare tyre(s!) then I should be golden ;)
Glad the OH gave you all a laugh - he makes me LOL every day. Last night, he noticed the grapefruit juice in the fridge.

OH: "Grapefruit juice eh? I hate it"
    Me: "So do I"
    OH: looks quizzical
me: "It's for my, erm, you know..." (hopes he drops the subject)
OH: "What?" (places hands in varying positions on nether regions - his not mine)
    me: "no, no"
    OH: "What then?"
    me: *mutters* "my mucus"
    OH: "Ewwwww!!! Nooooooooo"
    Me: "well, you did ask!"

My wedding dress does zip up, but breathing is not entirely possible.
    :rotfl:
Welcome too, if I didn't say it before DJ ;)

I love talking about it:p I don't do that on this thread as I know it is irrelevant and is boring for most of you:o
So ignore the next bit if you are not interested:)

It's done privately, and I'm on what's called 'short protocol' as I'm more mature:cool:

    1. I'll do a blood test on CD1, and it'll tell the doctor how much follicle (egg) stimulating drugs to give me.

    2. I start injecting the drugs from whenever the doc tells me, and go for scans to see how it is growing.

    3. Just before ov, they take the eggs out, inject sperm, let it grow for a bit (2, 3 days), and put it back in me.

    Then 2ww:whistle:
Au contraire, I think it's very interesting QQ :) Do you have it done abroad or in the UK? Is it a faff being in the right place/country at the right time(s)?

I always noted the days AF was here in my diary so that I could predict when the next time would be. Also for when the Dr asks and I look at him blankly and say "ummmm ... about ... I think ..." :o
If you're on FF or the like, you can put in your previous cycle info and it helps predict for the future :)

Thanks, I just want my AF!

Royal jelly is only fed to queen bees, and they are the ones that reproduce. I do realise I'm not a bee but hey ho!:j
    :rotfl:
Weren't you trying to put off your AF?

Well i got some more info on maternity leave & redundancy at work today. Apparantly if im PG just now, then i will get the full maternity pay as a lump sum along with the redundancy money
But if not PG this cycle - will get nothing!
    No pressure there!!!!!

Little to no chance of being pg this month so the ttc break looks set to go ahead.
    Meh. :(
Hope it doesn't come to that :(

:rotfl: I remember reading that story! Very strange. I like you, DJ, your posts make me laugh! :D Question - did you used to be married to someone called Jack, or is there more randomness to your name than that?!
Me too. And I wanna know too :D
However, after a while I found talking about "having sex" all the time made me feel like a bit of a slag(!) so now I'm happy to BD! :D
    :rotfl:
    Sorry for just disappearing...

I'll probably just lurk for a bit as I don't think much is going to be happening here.
Hope you got the break you needed and that you're wrong about nothing happening :)

You might find you have better joy with a high protein diet, rather than high fat. Would be healthier, and probably a bit nicer to eat too.
Good point Euro. Body builders who want to put on mass use protein powders and shakes - that could be a good way for you Charlie?

If we all have baby bees, then it's all your fault for encouraging us to take Royal Jelly:naughty:

Bought a CBFM this month so I can start using that next cycle, although I'm hoping that I won't need to ;)
Keep it in the box for a refund ;)

I've still got tonsillitis (but managing to BD ;)) and been busy over the last few days so only just got chance to catch up :) Very glad about my hormone test results, and that I can now fit back in some pre-wedding clothes again! Which will mean I don't neeeeed to buy something for the wedding we have to go to next weekend ;)

BB - I don't know how you managed with a trapped nerve for a year  If this doesn't go within a week, I will go mad......! Glad your AF wasn't too evil this month and loving your PMA!!
x_Charlie_x - glad to see you back, I was wondering where you'd dissapeared to! I think you're right to concentrate on getting your weight up a bit. Maybe concentrating on something else will get you your bfp? Worth a shot  Eat salads but make sure you have avacado, bacon, chicken, full fat dressing, etc ;) That will help fatten you up!
QQ - sorry AF arrived (but at least she did it in a timely fashion, ready for start of IVF!)
euro - I know it's hard hun and I don't know the full situation but just be careful getting mad at OH for not talking. Men do things in their own time (nowhere near as quick as us) and he will talk when he's ready. Sometimes, if someone keeps asking about it, it makes the situation worse and he'll then be mad at you for making him even more upset/mad. Try and be your upbeat self and just casually ask if everything is ok. When he's ready to talk, he will. Hugs xxx

CD9 here and expecting to ov any day now (if I haven't done so already). Trapped nerve feels better but it seems to get worse as the day goes on so, I won't say anything to tempt fate...

Can I just say - grapefruit juice is disgusting!!!! :rotfl: I have drunk a glass and I will do one a day but I am not impressed :rotfl:

I take pg vitamins, red raspberry leaf and now drinking that awful juice

    Ooh only just read back.

The things we do to conceive eh?

I like grapefruit juice but sometimes it's just too bitter for me. I sometimes add a bit of orange juice to it and then it's yum.
  • I was wondering whether any of you CBFM girls could help me please?

My CBFM was delivered yesterday (CD4) and I haven't had a proper chance to read the instructions, but from what I remember you can programme it to start on any day of your cycle?

Tomorrow will be CD6 for me. Can anyone please tell me in really simple terms, what time of the day I should be testing and secondly how I programme it so that it knows I'll be on that day?

Thanks in advance (from a really tech-no-phobe girl :o)

    xx

Euronorris my OH is the same, not a talker at all. Drives me mad but I know I pee him off if I keep on. Sometimes I can't just can't keep my trap shut and there just has to be a row, c'est la vie I guess.:o

:rotfl: DH just text to ask if I'd done the OPK, so I said not yet, and that I doubted they or temping would be that effective and we'd be better to rely on BDing every 2 days...to which he replied "does that mean you want a night off tonight?" :rotfl: So I reminded him it's been more like every 3 days and he replied "you've been keeping count then have you?" ....Oh, the wonders of FF!! :o:p
