euro - I know it's hard hun and I don't know the full situation but just be careful getting mad at OH for not talking. Men do things in their own time (nowhere near as quick as us) and he will talk when he's ready. Sometimes, if someone keeps asking about it, it makes the situation worse and he'll then be mad at you for making him even more upset/mad. Try and be your upbeat self and just casually ask if everything is ok. When he's ready to talk, he will. Hugs xxx

I know, but it's so hard not to say anything when you're the one who has to put up with the awful mood, things being slammed, swearing etc. You know, if he had a little moan and then carried on as normal, fair enough. But he doesn't.

And all this over something to do with the bins?? It's such an overreaction. I don't get it.

He did get annoyed at me for asking, and I tried to explain why I was doing that, but we were both in a rush to get to work. We did kinda sort things before leaving though and parted with a kiss.

Well I think I am in for the 2WW now. Ov pains have stopped now, is it right the eggy only lives 24 hours after ov? Thats soooo not fair lol

It seems everyone around us is getting pregnant, usually by accident too. How can it be so easy to have an accident like that when we ladies have been trying for a while and nothing!! Grrrrrrrrr

On another downer today as the house sale has fallen through. Gutted is the best way of describing it. Oh well, heres for a nice warm summer!!

Don't know, had my + CD17 so maybe?? DH couldn't finalise the deed CD19 so hope that his swimmers were still alive from the day before. Not feeling very positive about it though!! :(

I have read some where that the swimmers aren't as strong if you BD every day ... I could be wrong though!! Fingers crossed for you!!

Thanks Colli. Didn't have the best start to the day either as had a bit of a tiff with my OH.

He was having a hissy fit over the bins this morning. I still don't know why, but it took a good 5-10 minutes to even get that out of him. He thinks I should just leave him alone when he says it's not to do with me, but doesn't seem to realise that I worry that means something could be wrong with his brother again (especially as we were told earlier this week that his brother had a bad day on Sunday/Monday)! Winds me up no end when he continually says nothing is wrong, when clearly there is, and doesn't appreciate that a) it worries me and b) telling me the problem (or at least saying can we talk about it later instead) first off would save us both a lot of time and hassle. Arghhhhhhh!

Hugs hun - hope things are sorted soon!!

:rotfl: DH just text to ask if I'd done the OPK, so I said not yet, and that I doubted they or temping would be that effective and we'd be better to rely on BDing every 2 days...to which he replied "does that mean you want a night off tonight?" :rotfl: So I reminded him it's been more like every 3 days and he replied "you've been keeping count then have you?" ....Oh, the wonders of FF!! :o:p

:rotfl:Men don't usually notice these things do they? Made me chuckle anyway bless him!

QQ - Good luck with the IVF ... a friend at work has had it and although it didn't work first time she was due for her second attempt when she found out she was pregnant ... they reckon the IVF kind of cleared her out - Anyway she now has a nice big bump and is over the moon.

I did have some other peoples posts to reply to but multiquote hasn't stored them .... right back through the thread to capture those that I have missed!!

Keza - Did you say you are testing this weekend?

Derby - Do you have any plans to test?

X_Charlie_X - I know to lose weight you have to have 500 cal less per day - could you try increasing by this amount each day and see how you get on? My hubby finds it very hard to put on weight so I tend to make him very hearty meals like yorkshire puddings and stew. He has started having a pint or two of milk a day and has put a little bit of weight on.

Jen151 - Fingers crossed, I hope you get your BFP this month ... I hope you manage to relax so the pressure isn't too much!!

Vesper - Glad everything went ok with your in laws - it just goes to show that not everyone goes on one half of the story ... Glad you survived it!!

My temps are still high, I have had a few outbreaks and I have had the odd cramp over the last 4 days .... everything else feels like I am mid cycle rather than nearing AF ... The only thing I have noticed is that I feel very wet down there and have watery CM (Sorry for TMI :o)

I am so glad it is Thursday although I have a mega cleaning weekend planned!

I was wondering whether any of you CBFM girls could help me please?

My CBFM was delivered yesterday (CD4) and I haven't had a proper chance to read the instructions, but from what I remember you can programme it to start on any day of your cycle?

Tomorrow will be CD6 for me. Can anyone please tell me in really simple terms, what time of the day I should be testing and secondly how I programme it so that it knows I'll be on that day?

Thanks in advance (from a really tech-no-phobe girl :o)

    xx

    Hi

I believe it says you can start on day 1-5, if you don't have a chance to set the M button then, you should wait till your next cycle. If you go online to the website, there's an instruction booklet that you can download. You simply press and hold down the button till the M with the correct cycle day appears.
It recommends using it in the morning for your first urine of the day, and then you can use it anytime from then on either 3 hours before or 3 hours after that time. But should be your first urine of the day, as that has the highest concentration of hormones.

Oh, and you keep switching it on every morning, and it usually asks for your first test to be performed on CD6.

  • Hello ladies. Hope your Thursdays are going well.

Good luck for the IVF QQ.

Congratulations to all the ladies who have lost weight. I struggle to maintain my weight within normal levels, despite eating normally, so I admire your efforts. :T

Charlie, one of my friends is a bodybuilder and he does cycles of cutting (to get rid of fat - I think it's essentially Atkins) and weight gain (to fuel the muscles). I dont think you need to bother with the cutting, but I know that he uses the whey protein stuff to bulk him up a little, eats a high protein, high dairy diet and doesn't eat much junk. Might also be worth doing some strength training as muscle weighs more than fat. Having said that I'd happily syphon some of my bottom fat for you.

Weird, weird things going on with me this month. CD21. Had 5 days of EWCM from CD15-19, normally I only get 2. We only managed to BD on the last day of EWCM. Is that too late? Am I definitely out?

Thanks dude :D I've got almost another stone to lose, and I'll've lost 10% of my body weight...which is said to be enough to kick start the PCOS lark into touch :D (other goals are gonna take longer)

The multiquotes basically you just put [ quote] at the beginning of what you're quoting (without the space) and [/quote] at the end - the / makes it "end" if you want to put who said it you put [ quote=suchabody] at the beginning. There's also a handy button that puts the quote brackets around the text you highlight (between the picture icon and the hash sign)

    When are you gonna test?
