She has said I need to get as many calories in as possible so that's what i'm trying to do by having alot of processed food (which she suggested) but i'm aware it's not very healthy and i'm getting a bit sick of eating so much rubbish

I'm no medical expert by ANY means but that doesn't sound great to me hun. Processed food is absolutely chocka with salt, transfats and loads of other carp that's bad for you. If you're already getting sick of it I guess you'll find it hard to stick to and it will probably make you feel rubbish in the meantime. Have you thought about eating full fat dairy, more carbs and lots of good quality protien? Nuts have loads of calories but are good for you. I can make a salad pretty calorific if I want to with lots of dressing and croutons. Are you a gym member? I know my gym will do dietary consultations, usually to help people lose weight but I've found them very helpful and they do know their food! Good luck!

I know, I went and saw the doctor this week as i'm feeling terrible in myself, tired, grumpy which I assume is down to my weight/carp i'm eating! I didn't have enough time to cram in everything I wanted to say as I was going to ask about exercising more. I was wasn't sure if I was meant to or not as I don't want to just burn of calories im taking in,but then i'm guessing it would make me hungrier so I would end up eating more? My local gym isn't the best as i've been before, but I have a crosstrainer at home and am happy to go running and swimming now the weather should be improving!
QQ- PMA PMA! hehe. I know, that's why I have never been worried as I haven't had problems before and my mum was my weight when she started having children! I was really down about the whole thing a while ago but i'm feeling so much better and have other things to concentrate on. TTC gets so intense!
Euro-That's a great idea. Or could always try a couple of weeks of each and see what actually works? I'm thinking the generally eating carp isn't as the doctor weighed me this week and I was exactly the same, lol. Thanks for being worried, that's so sweet
I will have to catch up again over the weekend as i'm away for a couple of days. I know a few people on here have got BFP's after a break away but i'm not so sure I will on CD66 (ish). AF will probably arrive instead to ruin my holiday!
Good luck to anyone testing over the next couple of days

I was exactly the same when I was younger. My BMI was 15.5. I ate almost constantly, not a big pile of rubbish but massive portions and I never watched what I ate at all. I was eating something like 3000 calories every day, doing very little exercise and no matter what I did my weight did not change at all. In some cases it really is harder to put weight on than to lose it! I then found myself pregnant completely unexpectedly so it’s not always a problem with conceiving. Saying that, I had fairly regular periods still so that is an advantage. I now have a BMI of 18 something which is still a little low I guess but I do look much better now I think. If you find a form of exercise you really like it helps put weight on. Have you thought about taking up pole dancing?
And I never had to resort to eating carp to put any weight on. I can't believe a Dr would advise you to do that
Hope AF stays away for your hols anyhow.CD1 at last:cool:

Good luck with everything this month. It sounds like you'll be kept busy but fingers crossed it'll all work out for you0 -
Hope all goes well QQ, fingers crossed for you.
Sounds like you're having a pants time Euronorris, virtual hugs coming your way....
CD8 for me, bit early for ov but it came a bit early last month and caught me out a bit so lots of BD tonight onwards, can't hurt (and may even be rather nice)!0 -
